Drs. Naylor & Murdoch - 8th Street Vision Centre

I've recently moved to Saskatoon. My annual eye exam was done with the utmost professionalism. Every step was top notch. I would definitely recommend them.

Have been going to appointments here my whole life, and just finished another appointment today, my visions downgraded slightly but the team really made me comfortable and helped me with all my concerns! Would recommend anyone, very welcoming!

Their service was terrible. They charged me for trying contact samples. I waited a week for the other samples to come. I had to use a daily pair for a week. Finally decided to ho somewhere else and got the right fit in one day!!!! I want my money back!!!

Dr. Murdoch serves my whole family. He is unfailingly cheerful and warm. He treats his clients as people, taking time to check in on how things are in our lives and not just the health of our eyes. He takes time to explain any new information and clarify changes or things to monitor. Now that my prescription is getting complex (progressive lenses), he makes sure the measurements are accurate and my vision feels perfect when I wear my glasses. I know if I ever have more significant eye trouble, I am getting and will get the best possible care.

My family has been going to Dr Murdoch for 10+ years and every time is a great experience. The whole staff is welcoming and always make my children feel comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone with young children starting out with their eye exams.The select for glasses is wonderful as well. I always find frames I love and get complimented about. They direct bill which is very handy.

As always every single appointment with Dr. Murdoch is an amazing experience. The treatment from all the staff from the very second you enter those doors until we leave is very very good. I always go with my kids , they are 4 years old and the process is always so seamless eventhough my kids want to be running around, the staff is so nice to my kids and so accommodating. The tests are smooth, from office to office in a very organized sequential way until we reach the last room where we see the specialist. Murdoch makes it so fun for my kids and he explains in details everything and always in a way it is easy to understand. Murdoch not only focus on the exam results but also he makes a connection with his customers and he asks us every single time how we are doing, how is life, and have a small conversation with us about our family. He makes us feel very well cared for on a personal level and on a professional doctor-patient level. When we leave the feeling of being satisfied and happy of how the appointment went is fulfilling. I'd like to express the amount of professionalism this place displays. Doctors offices need to take notes...I sadly have no coverage so I had to drop $314 on some glasses. :( However the experience was very calm and relaxed. Had several flashes of lights temporarily blind me and it was nice to hear my eyes were in good condition considering I haven't gotten new glasses in over 10 years. XD. I'm very grateful they had other options for glasses as I was not willing to drop $400 for frames.....The lowest they had was $75 so keep that in mind when you come here. Glasses feel heavy and not cheap and were shipped within a couple days. I was surprised how fast it was. Service was super fast as well and I wasn't waiting an hour or anything. This place seems very organized and doesn't overbook people. You must call upon arrive and only appointments. Awesome place, awesome service!

I had Dr Naylor and staff do my eye exam for their vision centre had the best selection of safety glasses I could find.I'm very pleased with every interaction I had at 8th Street Vision Centre through the exam and safety glasses purchase.Very professional

Consistently offer fantastic service. Repaired my glasses, accommodated my Covid-19 health precautions and did a great job. Highly recommend Dr. Murdoch and his great team!

Dr Naylor and staff are all very professional, friendly and efficient using the latest technology and making sure equipment is cleaned between patients. I've always felt well cared for when I go and always love my new glasses!
