Fence And Deck Man

Mike and his crew at Fence and Deck Man were so great to deal with. Mike responded quickly and accommodated me in their very busy calendar. The crew was polite and fast and did a great job cleaning up after.I would certainly recommend Fence and Deck Man to anyone and I will definitely call on them again for future work.Thanks Mike and team!!!

Mike and his team did an awesome job! We got a PVC/steel post fence and a wood gate on the other side, both turned out exactly how we wanted. Mike was very easy to talk to if we had any questions or concerns.We have gotten so many compliments from all the neighbour's, we would definitely recommend them to everyone!

We had a fence and a deck done. The fence is very nice and the deck is very nice too. My complaint is the workers brought their power saws, etc into the back yard and made one heck of a mess of our lawn. Also, when they used the auger to make the holes for the posts, they left all the dirt where it lay. We have at least a one foot area from the fence into the yard that now has zero grass and is totally mud/dirt. So now we have to fix it. What a mess! Behind our shed, we had small river rock that lay on a small grade to act as a run off for any water build up. The whole area behind the shed is now dirt/mud. All the rock has been covered and the small grade for water run off is gone. When it rains the floor in the shed gets flooded. When we pointed all this mess out to Mike, he said as the property owner, it is our responsibility as it is noted in the fine print of the contract. We have a lot of work ahead of us.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mike and his team at Fence and Deck Man. Every step of the process, from the initial meeting and quote - through to the installation of my fence was done professionally, politely, and on time. On top of that, the vinyl fence looks phenomenal! Even Mike’s follow-up and continuing professional relationship afterwards has been above and beyond. I would 100% recommend Fence and Deck Man!

My partner and I moved and we had already figured out someone to install a fence for our dogs and this person ended up ghosting us.A week before we moved, I was given mike’s info as recommendation on a Facebook group and the booking times were 4-5 weeks out. I explained to Mike my situation with the dogs and the backyard and he MADE IT HAPPEN for us. He squeezed us in, and we got our fence & piece of mind for our dogs.Mike was very pleasant and professional & his team was also friendly and approachable. They did an amazing job !We can’t thank you guys enough!

We are long-time residents of Brantford, Ontario. We feel compelled to write this critical review because our premium fence installation has become a nightmare. We had initially hoped to be at home to observe the installation, but repeated weather-related delays meant we were overseas when the installation finally occurred in early May 2023. We didn't see the so-called finished product until after we arrived home on May 31st. Imagine our shock! The photos tell the story: posts with splits from top to bottom, and at least 18 boards with gaps and cracks.Unfortunately, we paid the invoice in full while still overseas. In retrospect, this was a mistake, if a well-intentioned one. We were told the company needed our payment to enable them to order and purchase materials for other pending clients and installations. We paid in full as an act of good faith but wrongly assumed this company would reciprocate.We have repeatedly asked Mike of Fence and Deck Man to drop by briefly to see why we are upset, but to no avail. While he was quick to visit in response to our initial request for a quote, he has yet to come by to see why we are dissatisfied, even on days when rain sidelines his crews. He advises that he is too busy doing office work. He has also rattled on about warranties not covering flaws that occur over time., but this is not the issue!The issue is this inferior fence was built within the past few weeks, so time and weather-related issues under a warranty do not apply in this instance. The fence was flawed from the outset. The photos show the inferior materials used: posts cracked from top to bottom will not last once rain penetrates and permeates them; some boards should not have been installed in the first place. So much for the company’s promotion of quality, pressure-treated materials.This is the first negative review we have ever written. Our goal is to raise awareness of our unfortunate experience with Fence and Deck Man, Brantford, Ontario.

We had an amazing experience with Fence and Deck Man. When Mike came to give us a quote he also took the time to go over our ideas with us and help refine them to find what would be the best plan for our fence and dog run. We found Fence and Deck Man to be very prompt in replying to all of our email inquiries and very knowledgeable in all areas including property line by-laws. When the crew came, they were very friendly and respectful of our property. They worked very efficiently to ensure the job was done in the agreed upon timeframe. We are extremely happy with the outcome and plan to use Fence and Deck Man for any future projects.

Recently moved into our new home and desperately needed a fence & gate extension for our dogs! Mike booked us in on short notice, and superseded our expectations!! Amazing job by Mike and his crew! Super professional, & friendly. Even took the extra time to build a temporary set of stairs at the back for my elderly dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fence/deck build, maintenance & repairs. Great job guys! Looking forward to what you do with our deck in the summer.
