A Lil Taste Of Home

Travelling BC and a large chunk of Alberta, hands down the best restaurant meal I've had, They have no competition! I tried two dishes and the Tamaras Signature dessert. Wow

I'm up here on business and a client told us about a new restaurant that has opened and is within walking distance of our hotel.I must say, when the owner mentioned that they had a new spicy hamburger on the menu, I was a little skeptical. I grow my own peppers and if I'm not crying while eating it's just not spicy enough.Anyways, this burger was amazing. The spice flavour was superb, the home made bun was one of the best I've ever had and the freies with the dill and salt matched it perfectly.However, the deep fried cheese cake, which I didn't even know was a thing, blew any preconceived notions of a small restaurant in Mackenzie BC out of the water. It was amazing!My only complaint is a more expansive drink menu. Maybe get some whiskeys, and craft beers.So in summation, eat here. It is delicious and the owner is super friendly.I wish I could come to Mackenzie more often.

Food is good but it’s just your basic pub food. Nothing new or original to offer. But good, nonetheless

Amazing, delicious food. Large portion sizes and reasonable prices. You can tell the owners care a lot about choosing quality ingredients and how everything ends up tasting. They had lots of great recommendations and we tried them all. We loved everything we had.They also made me the best burger I've ever had from anywhere, hands down.I'm going to come back here everytime I'm in the area. This place is definitely Mackenzie's best kept secret.
