Our family rented out the resort for a family fishing derby/honeymoon.Peter and Sarah were excellent hosts!Kitchen was very well equipped to handle our large crew. Cabins were nicely appointed. Very clean, well ran, minutes away from the fishing grounds. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Denham Bay Resort as an outstanding place to have an amazing adventure fishing the surrounding area. Peter and Sarah are not only wonderful hosts, but they are incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the fishing. I recently had my first opportunity to stay at Denham Bay resort and it was amazing. The cabins were clean, restful and were absolutely perfect for our needs. The central kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal and I loved the fact that our whole group was able to sit around and talk as the meal was being prepared. The grounds are very relaxing and just being able to sit quietly and look out over the water at night and watch the stars is so relaxing that I can't wait to return.The resort is not big. It's not slick. It's not corporate. Rather, it's quiet, and it's personal and it's calm - and that's why I loved it.

Peter and Sarah are unbelievably nice. It's hard to imagine anyone working as hard as they do to make this a wonderful place to visit. We have been here twice. It is a great place to base a fishing trip.

Beautiful Bay and Marina. Will recommend this place. They also have cabin for rent.One of my favorite place to stop. They have amazing sunset view, great fishing just few minutes away and a relaxing walk around the resort and waterfalls

This place is spectacular! The views are out of this world, the Fishing is awesome & the hospitality is outstanding. Camping at its best; the cabins are great with a comfortable bed, shower and a homey feel. The outdoor kitchenette is the focal point of all things social, all you need to do is bring the food & beverage, everything else is in the kitchen. The hosts, Peter & Sarah are amazing, attending to every need.Peter is an experienced guide that takes you right to the fish, most days you catch fish before anyone else even gets on the water (it is a great location). Whether it is fishing in Denham Bay for salmon or going up the Phillips River to catch trout, he knows his way and where the fish are.You can get there by boat, water taxi or sea plane.This was my second trip to Denham Bay, I look forward to many more. It is a magical place to spend a few days!!!

We just spent 3 nights at Denham Bay and can not say enough good things about our stay! We were a group of 8 and rented all of the cabins so we basically had the resort to ourselves. The cabins were very clean and comfortable with all new linens and towels. I am fussy about my pillows and the ones here were great! Each cabin had its own washroom with shower, sink and toilet. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap were all provided. Every cabin had a fantastic view! There was a lovely common deck area with gorgeous Adirondack chairs perfect for morning coffee, escaping into a book or simply watching the hummingbirds and enjoying the surroundings. The outdoor kitchen for guest use was amazing! It was spotless and had every dish and utensil you could possibly need (all neatly organized in labeled containers). The grounds themselves were so beautiful! It was obvious that thoughtful effort has gone into the landscaping. We kayaked right off the dock. During our stay, we were also treated to our very own private dolphin show right in our cove! There was top notch fishing literally just around the corner. Our group was lucky enough to land two salmon to take home. Joe and Claudia (the new managers) were lovely and welcoming! They checked in every day to see if there was anything we needed (and Claudia even helped us fillet our fish). They have worked hard to continue to bring improvements to an already beautiful spot. It was a wonderful trip and we have already booked for next year! Can’t wait!

If you're in the area it's a great little place to stop by and say hi. Also a nice little fishing lodge with some great rooms and guides to fish with. Make sure to say hi to Sarah and Pete for me, they're an awesome couple who run the fishing lodge.

As a past guest and close friend of the owners of Denham Bay I found the recent review by Croft Peter interesting, since finding out that no one by that name has been a guest a the Lodge. The owners try their best to offer guests a truly unbelievable west coast fishing experience. They delivered in spades! It's unfortunate that people whom have not been a guest can write such negative reviews.

We have cruised in this area for over 20 years, knew of the Resort and stopped in this year as you can see it now from the water - what a hidden gem for yachtsmen.Claudia and Joe were the best hosts and made our stay perfect.Can't wait to stop in next year with some of our other cruisers.
