The walleye was pretty good. The batter was decent. The fries however, is where this place stands out. They were amazing. The layout for the chip stand is also really well done. Order in the front and pick up the back.

Great fish and chips and burgers. Amazing fries! We ate here coming and going on our boat trip. Both times I had the cheese burger. Delish! Two small patties w cheese, toppings and a soft bun. I love burgers and this one was a thumbs up. The fries are delicious and HUGE. A small is enough for two. Fresh cut and a good oil made for a perfect fry. I got onion rings the second time. They were very good and huge portion, but I missed the fries. My girlfriend got fish both times. There were 2-3 different prices for the fish and she got the cheaper of the group. It was excellent. A sea gull thought the same and stole an entire piece when we wernt looking! The most expensive cut was too pricy for a quick lunch, but I wish we could have tried it. We also had the fried mushrooms. They were very good, and a large serving. But I still think the fries beat all. We saw other customers get the poutine. Looked and smelled delicious. I wish we could have tried it. Thanks and we will be back next time we come to Spanish.

The walleye was super fresh. The fries were fresh cut and crispy. Great food!Price was a little steep for roadside stand. Too many fries for one person.

Nibblers Fish and Chips
Stopped here on the way back from Lake Superior and so glad we did. This spot is a hidden gem in the quaint town of Spanish, Ontario. Got the haddock dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The owner was also extremely nice and gave us a large serving. Would definitely come back here!

Looks good in the picture only 3 pieces of shrimp were edible. The rest were burnt completely dried out. Fries were good. Also when I walked up to the pick up orders. Bottom right corner small square hole seen big gray fur what I can only assume was a rat, way to big to be a mouse. Will never come back only came cuz nothing else was open.

A somewhat rustic and eclectic shed-like building offering fresh fried local fish and a few other options. We both had the walleye dinner. The fish was superb with a very light coating and served on top of a huge pile of fresh-cut french fries with a tiny cup of coleslaw with the same amount of tartar sauce. They offered three types of vinegar (white, malt, cider), ad well as ketchup.The seating are picnic tables with umbrellas or for inclement weather under a greed-house like wireframe structure
