Preston Animal Clinic

Really glad to find this awesome clinic. All staffs are very nice and patient. Brought my sweet Caramel (4 years old guinea pig) in yesterday. She has a really big tumour on her shoulder. Doctor Laurie is very kind and knowledgeable. She explained all the options and the worse results with me. Unfortunately test result confirmed the tumour is an aggressive one. Luckily Caramel is doing all fine at the moment. Eating and moving a Lot as usual. Will monitor her behaviour change. With medications, hope I can keep her for another year.Highly recommend this clinic. Definitely will come back for all my furry friends.

I cannot thank the Preston Animal Clinic enough!The first time I visited this clinic is when Pepe our parrot was sick, and unfortunately I had to make the hardest decision any animal owner has to make.Anyone who knew our family, knew Pepe was a huge part of it and he enjoyed life to the fullest doing everything we did, and he was never in his cage!I was so heartbroken to make the decision to have him euthanized and I double guessed myself every moment if I was making the right decision.When the day came I cried my eyes out and when I looked up, the vet tech was crying with me. I never felt so much comfort, it was in that moment I knew I had made the right decision for Pepe as so I am sure now if there was something to be done, it would have been done! I think of him daily and my house is way to quiet and my floors are too clean but I will always be thankful for them helping me though such a hard decision- they also did foot prints for me and I thought the perfect spot was in his wooden plaque we had made for him the first year we got him/ it turned out perfect!I am hoping to transfer my cat into their care! ❤️ thank you again Preston Animal Clinic

These ladies are top notch!! They are knowledgeable , fun, caring, compassionate, honest and passionate about what they do. I have been a client for over 6 yrs now. Finding a good veterinarian is like finding a good hairdresser. They are hard to find!! I am super happy I walked through the door the very first day here. I was made to feel like family but more importantly my pets were made to feel loved and like family also! That spoke volumes to me! I never question their ability or knowledge. They see how much my pets mean to me. I love the atmosphere and feeling I get the second I walk through the door. My dog Charlie has anxiety and I was nervous to bring him for fear he would act unruly. The girls sensed that and treated him with kid gloves and settled his nerves which settled my nerves. Taking my boy to the vet now isn’t a problem. They have gained my trust and confidence 100%Keep up the amazing work!!

Thank you to the reception staff and the doctor for taking really good care of my 3 year old holland lop bunny :)They were attentive, compassionate, and professional. Fitzgerald the bunny is getting better! Thank you ❤️

The staff are amazing to the customers both human and not. Our dog has some anxiety and within a few visits she's already calmed so much when we visit due to the care they provide her. Will always recommend this clinic!

For the most part, PAC has been very helpful and attentive. I recently (about a month and a half ago) brought my cat in for appeared to be an upper respiratory infection. While there, we discussed that it could be allergies. Her nose was very congested, she was sneezing, she had eye discharge. The veterinarian said it was a cold and to allow it to run its course (it had already run 2 weeks prior to the appointment). The only medication I was provided was to help clear the nose congestion. After 2.5 weeks, I called the vet again asking for advice because the eye discharge and sneezing hadn’t stopped. I was told “because it’s almost been a month, you’ll have to come for a whole new appointment”. That’s +$200. And only half a month! Why didn’t the vet properly assess the first time?? The receptionist said she will talk to the veterinarian and get back to me… she never did. I’m very disappointed.

Very nice, understanding people. Very knowledgeable. The biggest of all, they listen to us and our views without trying to force theirs on us.

Really like this clinic overall. I have been to several exotic vetrinarians in the area and Preston Animal Clinic and Dr. Gerritsen has been the best I have worked with. They care about your animals and have a lot of patience for overly anxious and worried pet parents. They also have shown me a lot of empathy. Exotic vetrinary medicine is very pricey, and their fees are about the same as other clinics I have been to.

So as a first time Reptile owner in general I had myself looking all over to lay out all options for an exotic vet. I stumbled across this clinic and decided to give ‘em a call as it was time my little man had his first check up!Woman who I spoke to on multiple occasions over the phone(Sarah) was super kind and helpful! She was able to answer all my questions so I was prepared and knew what to expect when arriving and what would happen during my appointment.Upon my appointment day I was greeted at the front desk by another friendly woman whom I can’t remember her name but she was super kind and friendly:).The vet I had take a look at my Loki was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She went over everything and did all the proper checks for health that any vet would do for your animal. :)Not many of the reviews specifically say anything on reptiles so I hope my fellow reptile keepers do stumble upon this!I highly recommend checking this clinic out if you’re looking for friendly service and for vets you know will treat and handle your animal with care :).

Super Impressed with this clinic.They are professional and knowledgeable, yet caring and kind.I have sugar gliders, and it's rare to find an animal clinic who will treat these little ones, let alone handle them like an expert.Dr. Isabel handled our girl, Cherry, like a pro! I was beyond impressed with her patience and gentleness towards her, even though Miss Cherry is a biter.Cherry didn't stress at all with Dr. Isabel, nor with the younger staff who came in after her exam to give her a needle.I would highly recommend this clinic.
