This Congee Wong has gotten less busy compared to the North York location. Overall food quality is what you would expect from a chinese restaurant. I had pork and duck rice, and congee. If I had to compare, the food at North York seems slightly better. The congee at both locations is not salty, so it's good to eat when you're sick.

20 of us went for a simple dinner. The roasted pork was the best among all bbq meats. The beef tendon noodles was good too. The rest of dishes: e.g. beef & egg-fried white flat noodles was broken in small pieces.I can smell detergent leftover in my glass (plastic) which was used for drinking beer.Worst of all, all of us felt very thirsty after the dinner; we believe perhaps some MSG was used in the food preparation.

We are regular customers since they opened. We usually do take out and get their Chinese BBQ. Love their roasted pork & BBQ duck. Great customer service. Fast and decent portion. Staff were welcoming & friendly. Will come back again soon.

Friend’s buddy Stanley the owner served & chat, pleasant, easy going, attentive gentleman started this chain years ago, still maintaining tasty Chinese dishes. BBQ are always nice, seafood i.e. lobster, steam fish are my favourite there, but congee is their specialty, a busy place , especially weekend nights!

A great congee & noodle place, reasonable priced, consistent great quality, quick & fast efficient service. Braised beef brisket noodle soup with succulent chunks of tender beef and firm al-dente noodles, tasty sauce with the bitter melon beef on a large serving of rice.

The dishes we had were very good. The service was also great, very friendly. Also, prices were very modest. I definitely want to come back. Perhaps next time I'm in Richmond Hill.

Food is ok, but definitely not enough staff on a Sat night. 3 waitresses for a big restaurant. We cant even find a staff to order rice.

They offer a great selection on their take out menu. The portion and price were reasonable. The staff was friendly. The fried rice & noodles were tasty but not oily. Will definitely go back!It was really nice to finally go back for dine in service. The restaurant was decent and their service was consistent. The food tasted as good as take out during the lockdown period. We enjoyed the tea set and a la carte menu very much.Recent Visit: We happened to be in the area so, we decided to stop by & grab some Chinese bbq take outs. They have a separate counter for BBQ items. The BBQ pork and Roasted Pork that we got were fresh and yummy. The price was very reasonable and the service was good.

0 star not even 1 star. Terrible service, food is only mediocre. Worst experience ever. AND they demand at least 10% gratuity for bad service, don't expect to leave without providing any. We order 12 dishes but 3 stood out the most....in an extremely BAD way. Deep fried squid tentacles was clearly stir fried with five spices. When we questioned this, the waitress [short bleach blond hair lady] argued that we ordered it wrong eventhough we wrote down what we wanted on a piece of paper. When she realized she/cook messed up the order she pulled the this is the style here" bs. It's OK to get orders wrong but to not acknowledge that you're wrong and fix the problem
