It's my go-to place for small things of meat or veggies - they portion stuff out for people who live in a duo/alone. It's always clean, it's always well stocked, and the employees seem like they're being treated well.

This is a nice grocery store. It's a bit small, yet they have a pretty good selection of food items, including Gluten-free stuff. It's always clean, with a nice relaxed atmosphere (I've never seen it be crowded or hectic). My only gripe is that the prices for some things are a bit expensive.This is a bit of a tangent, but if you enjoy kefir, and like coconut, try the Liberté coconut kefir; this is one of the few places where it's available, and it is fantastic! (Comes in a 4-pack of 200mL bottles.)

I wish I could give this store a -5 star. The workers have no idea any sales or any customer service skills. The “owner” Drew will argue you with you over a deal on crackers, talk over you when you are trying to speak about a terrible experience at the store, and takes a week to get back to you over a simple issue. Customer is always WRONG at this store, even when we aren’t. They all need to take a course on customer service. No wonder you have so many bad reviews. Over priced food with terrible workers and a terrible owner. Will NEVER return to this store and will be making sure I let everyone I know, know not to waste a dollar in this store.

Very well kept store, friendly efficient staff including security guard. Products are a little pricier than other grocery stores but that's ok for me if I'm getting quality meats and vegetables.

This place is so expensive, especially for the quality you get. Just went yesterday and spent $10 on steaks, went to cook them for dinner and they're brown/grey on the bottom and stink.The blueberries I got were already soft. For the amount of money I'm paying for food, I'd like to be able to eat it. If you buy anything fresh"

It is just a common courtesy to offer free paper bags to customers. ValuMart on Oxford Street doesn't have this courtesy. Your only option is to purchase one of their bags. I usually bring my own, but I don't appreciate the fact they don't even have a paper bag I could use in case I forgot.

Small, quaint, don't get trapped in long rows like big grocery stores, in and out always fast. Staff is very nice. Prices are comparable and it's an Optimum card store!

Be aware! Most of the meat and vegetables are over best before date or will be in one day. Any fruit or vegetable will go bad in a day. That includes ground beef or Fish. Mentioned multiple times to store people but no improvement.Also it's super expensive than other stores, no wonder why they have value in the name lol.I have lived near the store, for last 2 years, so unfortunately I have to go in sometimes but if anyone can, please avoid the store.
