Enjoyed this church very much. Reformed theology, expositional preaching, and appreciate the Q&A period at the end of the sermon. John Bell seems like a down to earth, solid pastor. People are quite friendly and inviting. Would highly recommend!

I attended New City Baptist Church during a short few months of living in Toronto, and have truly been blessed by the warmth of this beautiful community of believers.Solid biblical teachings by Pastor John Bell. There is so much care and awareness in how he approaches the gospel. Members, visitors, and non-believers alike, have the opportunity to experience a safe space where the hard questions can be asked, and thoughtfully answered by the pastor.Where ever you are in your faith, New City takes you in with open arms, and truly cares to offer you a place where you can grow, and know Christ’s love.

God's grace abounds at this church. The pastor greeted me with a warm smile and a firm handshake. He then proceeded to introduce me to other church-goers, and I entered a space of genuine care and concern of my person and well-being. The music team led the church in a mix of traditional and contemporary time of worship. I was thoroughly convicted by a sermon he had preached on, in the book of Romans. Finally, I was whisked away to a believer's baptism of a complete stranger, and the rest was history! Never had I felt such peace in my soul. Praise God!

An excellent church that is true and faithful to the word of God, puts the gospel at the root and is preached week by week through expositional preaching, and a diverse group of people that are united by the gospel that loves to fellowship!
