Camp Riverwood

My daughter has been going to this camp every summer for 4 years now. she is only 10 years old and we have just been told she cannot go this year because she is not vaccinated? Shame on these people for treating kids like that. We will never ever send her to this place again even if they ever lift there ridiculous mandate. Please do not support people like this everyone should cancel and find another camp for there kids out of principle. Plenty of other camps available it will be there loss.

Camp Riverwood is an amazing place to send your child to. The staff ensures that the campers are having fun and are staying safe and healthy! This summer was my first time working here and I plan on coming back next summer

Very well organized camp with lots of outdoor activities. The staff is very friendly, professional and responsive! My child loved his first year here and we look forward to going back next year! Would highly recommend!

Our kids love this camp! We can't say enough good things about Riverwood. The counsellors are fun and caring, and our kids can't wait to go to camp. As parents, we appreciate their focus on making camp safe AND fun!

They have an outdated policy where all kids 5 and up need to be vaccinated to attend the OUTDOOR camp. My daughter had covid recently and the doc advised she needs to wait 3 months to get her shot. When I explained this to the lady, Courtney, she told me sorry no can do, your child can't attend. Then I said ok, then I will need my funds back, again - sorry no can do, u didn't cancel before May 15 so we can't do anything about it. She kept shoving the policy in my face and after a whole lot of screaming she finally told me she needs a doctors notice attesting to my child being sick and then she MIGHT refund me. After another set of yelling, she agreed to pay the back minus the deposit. I will never ever go back to this place again. Horrible experience and horrible management.

A beautiful park with a lot of space for barbecue and walk your dog. It is close to the lake that you can see the lakeview from the bluff. It is good for families to spend time together here, or with friends. It is even more beautiful in November when all maple trees turn red. Only drawback is there is no way to drive your car here and park without paying for fee.

It is extremely disappointing you require vaccine passports for small children in order to attend 2022 summer camp. My kids absolutely loved your camp last year and were looking forward to this year, but we will never return, even if you remove your ridiculous mandate. Discrimination at its worst

Camp Riverwood is amazing. Staff are lovely and caring and I was very impressed with all the activities they offered every day for the kids. From theme days to special events, there was always something exciting going on and I would definitely recommend this camp! Thanks for a great few weeks :)

This is my daughters second year at Riverwood and she absolutely adores it. Last year she was there for 3 weeks and it was not enough for her, so we signed her up this year for 5 weeks. Every morning she jumps out of bed and is so excited to go! Thanks riverwood!! You guys rock!
