We accidentally found this beautiful little museum. My 6 and 10 yrs old boys quite enjoyed the drum making workshop. It’s a good attraction to visit in the weekend. It would be nice to also have a fare price for a single parent family to be more affordable.

On the small side, but does a great job presenting the history of North Vancouver and the North Shore. The shipbuilding history is extensive, as is the Indigenous background. Fun way to spend a rainy day - you'll definitely learn a few things!

Nice small museum with LOVELY staff. Museum about a bit of the history of north Vancouver, with information about the shipyard area, the city origins, nature and mountains around, and indigenous life and other immigration. It doesn't go into too much detail, but it's a good overview. The shop is worth visiting with nice books and indigenous crafts and jewelry. The staff were super lovely and recommended us lots of other places to go, bookshops and museums.

Great museum of the history of Vancouver. Very interesting and learnt a lot about the city and the indigenous people who first were on the land. It is also kid friendly with kids activities inside. Would highly recommend to visit if you are in the area. Had a great time there.

Excellent service and facilities! Their activities are well organized and the engagement is great. I loved watching one of my favorite films of all times there with my kid who had never watched it before, The Neverending Story, and he loved the experience and the movie. Highly recommended!

It's a nice visit if you manage expectations - The museum is small and doesn't have a lot of exhibits/artifacts, but the curated collection is interesting and presents the history of North Van well. I think it's worth a visit when in Lonsdale.

An interesting museum telling the development of North Vancouver with a honest focus on the role and relationships towards the First Nation people. There is a range of media and fascinating objects in a few well organised galleries.I was here for maybe 90 minutes but didn't take it all in. Once bought, your entrance ticket is good for all day.The souvenirs in the shop, craft goods, were of a good style and quality. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful.
