Consulate-General of Barbados

I have been dealing with a delayed payment and burial reimbursement for 9 months now and have got no wear in regards to returning emails. Kathy Ann has been not very helpful and Norma that works out of the Embassy in Barbados has not yet responded to me from the email I sent back in Novembef of 2021. Not very good customer service at all.

absolutley perplexed on why in this day an age, one cannot speak to anyone at this consulate. It should not still be closed at this point. why should our only means of communication be via online??! This is ridiculous!

Contacted the Consulate for information today and I was very pleased with the customer service I received.Kathy Ann was professional and provided exactly what I needed and followed up with an email. Kudos to KathyAnn and the Barbados Consulate for employing staff like her.Angela G

Ms Sandiford and Ms Douglas went far and beyond when assisting me with my concerns. They did not have to do as much as they did but they took the time out to polish every detail and for that I'm grateful. I felt as though I was being assisted by my mum.

I'm a Bajan Canadian. Born and raised in Barbados. Arrived in Canada a few months ago and struggling with culture shock- ago my mum says. Any cultural activities gine on to ease my heart?

This consulate needs a total make over need to get rid of these very unprofessional people I emailed them yesterday about passport renewal and ask if I can also apply for the new trident card as well a day has pass no reply I also emailed barbados about said trident card received a email back in lest then 2 hrs the consulate in Toronto is a disgrace to barbados.

I never had a bad customer service experience like others have said however it is extremely difficult to do business with this consulate because of the hours of operation it would be extremely helpful if hours were from 7:30am/8:00am until 6:00/6:30 pm. Especially for those Bajans in precarious work situations who only get 30 mins for lunch and work far from Yonge with expiring Passports or who need helps with PR applications under Express Entry or Work Permits. UPDATE: So after contacting the consulate, i had a great customer service experience and the way to get around the issue of being at work is that they will email you the form to fill out with all the pertinent information then you just courier it in, to them with the payment and it takes 6 weeks. Easy!

Kathyann, who I spoke to on the phone, was very friendly and helpful when I called with a number of questions. I never felt rushed or like I was an inconvenience.

I really don't understand why this place is still closed. Every establishments like this one are all open. From what I'm seeing this is laziness

Unless she's on vacation, I've always dealt with Kathy Ann and have always know her to be a kind, polite and helpful person. Sometimes in life when we don't get the answers we want, we tend to get nasty because it's not in our favor. Maybe you're the only one who don't know that the Barbados Digital ID card can only be taken and issued in Barbados! Come on folks wake up, it's 2023.
