I’m posting on behalf of my mother.. Not to be ungrateful but we got a bunch of yogurt which doesn’t help a lactose intolerant child, we also didn’t get any fruits. We are very grateful but disappointed as now our lactose intolerant child has barley anything to eat. Yes I understand it’s donation based but when I see tons of people loading their cars they have a whole bunch of fruit and food, no cereal or nothing but they can get boxes and boxes of food for 2 people. Update: I was looking at the dates on the cans and the corn I had received is way past it’s edible date (December 2015) I cannot find an email to send pictures to

Great people helping out and wonderful atmosphere. The workers made sure I had nearly everything I needed. Super kind. They do need to not put the snow to the edge of sidewalk as no one can safely get onto the sidewalk from their car.

Not trying to be ungrateful but at a time when our family is really needing food i get 40 lbs potatoes rotten lettuce rotten spinach rotten apples and a few pastries some bagels buns not much i can even make a meal out of and i took 1.5 hr bus ride so very sad today

While I appreciate the generosity of the food bank... Giving me food that is almost a month past the expiration date kind of defeats the purpose... Not impressed...Had to throw out like half of my food cause it had mold or it was inedible... Do better guys.

Wow they give you a fair bit for going there, it's nice to have someplace to get what you need sometimes. When the unexpected comes up and you can take a breather.

Dignity and respect. The security guard gave us bottles of water while we waited. There is no shame in needing assistance and honestly just wanted to post this to thank the Annex for everything they did for us 2 days ago. I could not believe the amount of healthy, good food provided. Thank you. ❤

The main food bank depot. You get a few day's worth of food once a month. Make an appointment to have a hamper ready for you, otherwise it's a long wait to get your hamper - at least up to an hour, sometimes more! Also, you need a ride home & to bring your own bags & boxes. :(

I'm really amazed at the great quality of food we got from here - Many thanks to all the staff and volunteers. The staff are so hard working they were working outside in the cold and brought the food out our car! God bless you. Awesome caring customer service. I have never been to a food bank in my life but covid19 has caused job loss - and this food bank has come to rescue my family. Thanks again. God bless you all.

I love how I can actually rely and not defy the food bank and all its Glory it has come through time and time again and it is just a lovely workforce free but for the real edmontonian cheers and don't forget these fine proud citizens of the food bank are very driven to serve us you so make sure to be there on your hamper pickup cuz these guys have nothing better to do than wait around for people who don't want it and the people who do need it well they'll get it so be on time and help them help you get out the door bye
