It is absurd to charge $21 for a plate of biryani and $12 for a plate of samosas, and on top of that outrageously you charge $7 for delivery even though I'm 2 minutes away from your place.Believe me when I say this, I have ordered almost every item from your menu multiple times, and 86% of it is not even eatable. People from here may like it because they don't know what real Indian food is, but we know it very well. Those items are not authentic at all. It is unfortunate that you're 1 of 2 Indian restaurants in town, the reason why some of us come to you. We are done now. Please don't take advantage. Thank you.

ordered the lamb curry and rice with the chicken samosas and it was absolutely delicious - no delivery fee and i was able to order completely online! the portions are pretty good for the price and the food is amazing - one of the only places in town as far as i know that delivers indian takeout, its a bit of a wait but it tells you that upfront and they were right on time, plus the food was still warm so no complaints there! definitely planning on ordering again soon.edit: they gave me enough food for a whole second meal so the portions are very good for their prices! super happy with my order :)

outstanding food. We had not had Thauli or Dosas for some time and this was a real treat.the Dosa is a thin crepe filled with curry of choice and sauces to put on, Crispy dosa nice caluiflower curry.Thauli is a metal dish with a sampler of different curries and rice and bread and sauces, yoghurt and a gulab jaman desertAll delicious and great service. had a spicy minty drink.Reasonable prices

All I can say is that this is a fantastic restaurant! The owner is post modern in his cooking approach to cooking authentic southern Indian food. You will be charmed, full of good food and ready to hit the slopes after eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don’t leave Nelson, BC without eating at Katooney South India Kitchen. Next time we are in Nelson, BC we will stop in again.

Absolutely a lovely experience. The staff ensured I understood what I was ordering and explained anything I questioned in great detail. The flavour is stunning, and even for some one who doesn’t handle spice the best, I was able to enjoy. Amazing experience and next time I travel through, I’ll stop by!

We ate here for the first time and we found the food delicious. We had the Eggplant, butter chicken, lamb & kozhi kulambu served with rice and we ordered the parotta bread which was flaky and hot. It was all very good. The staff were good but it took the food awhile to get to us but I think it cause everyone came in about the same time. We were seated right away. Prices were reasonable for a dinner menu. Street parking available. Free after 5 pm.

I had the pleasure to dine at KTC (Nelson) last weekend and it was an absolute delight. The food was authentic and delicious. We ordered a variety of appetizers, main course, drinks and deserts and I couldn’t complain. I returned the next day again for one last time before I had back to my city.The waitress was also a delight and was very efficient/capable.
