Pictured is the lamb wrap with hummus, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, black olives, tabouli, and Donair sauce, and the 5pc macaroni bites. The wrap was amazing, not soggy, perfect balance of ingredients, and thoughtfully wrapped. The Mac bites were crispy on the outside and creamy, perfect. I've been looking for a good donair place in Nanaimo, and this one great if you don't have the energy to locate food trucks. Added bonus: they are on Skip!

I really enjoyed Donair Dude last night. My partner and I were a couple of many people that showed up for their grand opening first day. The place was absolutely packed, line out the door and Skip and Door Dash drivers showing up constantly all at the same time. I have to give kudos to the staff because they were all working their butts off to keep up and keep everyone happy at the same time. The service was great in spite of the chaos that was the grand opening and I was highly impressed. The atmosphere and art inside was really fun. The wraps were pretty darn good and very generously portioned. However the mushroom and fries we got as sides were not very good. It was their first day however and they are still figuring things out and testing their product with the public I’m sure. I feel certain they will continue to only improve from here. Will definitely be back again soon!

My boyfriend and I both had the chicken wrap, chicken was seasoned perfectly, large portions of vegetables, sauces were delicious! We couldn't even wait to get home and ate in the car because it looked and smelled so good!The employees were all kind and helpful and I loved seeing them all smiling and having a good time. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and very cleanly.We are so happy this restaurant opened and we hope for much success for its future!

Worst excuse of the attempt of a Donair. My husband is East Coast born and raised and was more than disappointed. Donair meat questionable, cabbage no lettuce(huh?), Not a real sweet sauce, tortilla not pita(again huh?). I gave a one and my husband gave a zero. Not worth the $20 at all. Call yourself Wrap Dude or stay to what your good at! Will not be back.Service and atmosphere where good.

I got a lamb donair for lunch on Monday after their grand opening and it was very tasty. A bonus that you can pick your own ingredients. Despite being swamped with customers their service was fast and effecient. Good vibes in the restaurant, the staff seem to enjoy working there. Strongly recommend!

I’ve been waiting for a good donair joint to open in Nanaimo, but the wait is over! I ordered the lamb platter and it was one of the best things I have eaten in a while. It comes with roast potatoes, grilled mushroom, Greek salad, and seasoned rice. Everything came out fresh and the seasoning was spot on. 10/10 would eat again everyday if I could afford it haha.
