Car inspection station

We have had work done 3 or 4 times now at this garage and will happily come back and recommend the work they do. Whenever there needs to be work done they take the time to fully explain what the problem is and then fully explain how they will fix it and why they chose that option.We stumbled across G&L when we moved here but its the best find we have made as far as service providers go.Highly recommend this shop.

THESE CLOWNS STRAIGHT UP RIPPED ME OFF. THEY TOOK MY 1100 DOLLARS, PUT A NEW M.V.I. STICKER IN THE WINDSHIELD AND DID NONE OF THE WORK.

Great group of employees that help me when I'm running around for safeties at my dealership...this includes backend staff like mechanics to the front desk .(just be nice and it will be reciprocated back

Great service and nice courtesy cars. Discovered easy electrical fix that saved me component replacement. Work done looks great. Minor delay to replace a defective water pump of an extra day with courtesy car, which resulted in no charge for the car fee. Overall good experience and would recommend

Couldn't recommend this place enough.I was honestly skeptical at first because of the perfect 5 star rating and how little they charge, but now I don't think I'll take my cars anywhere else. They're very thorough and and easy to work with, and Sijo and Suni are both great to deal with.

Sam takes the time to help you understand the importance of the work he is recommending, pricing is fair and he'll let you know if something is showing some wear but still has some safe performance life left. You will know your car and what to expect from it better for having done business here.

First time doing this but… The miscommunication, the lack of professionalism, the poor customer service team, unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. After dropping our car off first thing in the morning we were told it would be done by the end of the day (they close at 6pm and we work at 6:30pm so that works great). Its now 5:30pm and no update. We call probably 50 times and no one picks up. Finally one of the customer service women pick up and they have absolutely no information about anything. At one point no one knew where our car was… service was saying it was at the body shop… we call the bodyshop and it’s not there and they tell us its at the service center. They sounded like they were just purely annoyed of us that we needed an update on the car. We end up getting a ride to the body shop to literally try to TRACK DOWN OUR CAR(because again we work at 6:30pm and no one was telling us anything and we needed to figure this out).The rudeness we received from the woman at the front desk was unbelievable, it was all extremely frustrating and upsetting. We end up telling them we need our car back because we need to get to work.Turns out the car just sat in the back of the parking lot for 8 hours and wasn’t even getting worked on like we were told (oh did I tell you that this was a rescheduled appointment because we tried before and similar things occurred but we gave them a second chance). If you can’t get something done within a day thats FINE but the customer service and lack of communication that we just experienced was disgusting and was overall the most stressful experience.

Excellent service: quick response to my phone call, easy to make an appointment, thorough + detailed inspection; his depth of knowledgeable and expertise was obvious. Had my appraisal form in short order. Fair price for the service. Overall, excellent value for the time & money.

As a member of the Canadian Armed Forces I have been posted all over Canada. With that I have to have vehicles inspected in every province I have lived. Coming to Ontario I was not looking forward to another inspection" meaning getting ripped off for work that doesn't need to be done. At Doval's this never happened in fact the whole process was GREAT!!! Christine offed a military discount and no unnecessary work required. My fantastic experience with Doval and Christine continued over the last 4 years.Doval has always been honest with the diagnosis and more than reasonable on price. He has discounted and sought more affordable options to his loss I'd say. He has even come to my house to look at my truck when it was unable to drive. He is an absolutely great guy and I will never go to another mechanic.Christine is an absolutely positive and generous lady. She has been great with her customer service and she always goes out of her way to help in any way she can. She has picked me up from home and dropped me off to home and has given me a courtesy vehicle. She also has offered to help me to by another vehicle. She is wonderful.I have read other reviews and the negative ones as well and the positive ones say it all. The negative ones are obviously the person and not Doval and Christine. Yes their facility isn't all glitz and glam but it is quality work and great people and to me that's all that matters.Thank you Doval and Christine YOU ROCK!!!!!!!"
