Ice cream shop

Large portions of ice cream & many varieties of our local favourite Kawartha dairy! Only negative was that I could not mix flavours?

I love that they offer so many special flavors other than just the basic you can find anywhere. All flavors we got are delicious (al popcorn, something peach, salty caramel, something coffee-like). We got “the flight” (12$ish) which should be enough for 2 and this way you can try a little bit of everything. The store is nice and clean, they also have some classic board games (battleships, connect4, sorry, etc). Parking also available at the back. Overall, totally happy with my visit.

So Delicious and gives a lot of ice cream when we ordered baby size. Absolutely recommend you to come here if you want ice cream

Review based solely on the cafe latte ice cream that I got here, the gelato is amazing and I would definitely come back for it.Anything else they sell here, I can’t be the judge of it. Although it is also a nice convenience store.

I forgot to get photos during my visit but not sure if it’s worth going back just to do that. Because it is unfortunately gross inside! I don’t know how those poor girls work inside, there has to be some standard in the food industry that is not being met here. Everything is sticky and the plastic screens do not appear to have been cleaned since COVID began; but all of that I can excuse because it was all the flies inside that creeped me out. Who knows if they’ve landed in your food? They’re everywhere inside this marble slab. For some reason we went ahead with our order anyway and it was good, but I couldn’t enjoy it thinking about the conditions inside. The staff were nice though.

I don't understand why marble slab started being all cheap..they claim mixins are free, yet when you order a liter, they first proceed to fill it with mixins and then fill ice cream. Results, I got .8ltr ice cream and .2litre mixins which were supposed to be free. When confronted the response is 'this is how I was trained' or this is because ' the ice cream gets wasted' ...no it doesn't get wasted..you give me the ice cream that you can't fit in the cup. Mixins are free and unlimited, they should be added last. Priority should be I get 1 litre of ice cream first. If you guys want to cut corner don't claim to give free mixins..Ill pay extra but want full 1 litre ice cream..would love to speak to the manager over why this has been happening. It's really annoying

30 different flavors to dip your ice cream cone into. There is some thing for everyone here. I loved the pistachio dip.

Fast, friendly, clean. Excellent employees, great central location. Who could leave a bad review for ice cream?

It was a nice place to visit friends mid-afternoon to get some ice cream in nasty weather!
