Solar energy contractor

Do NOT use this company. If I could give zero stars I would. They were working on neighbors roof and one of their subcontractors destroyed my driveway while removing garbage bin. They responded to my initial email saying they are not responsible for their subcontractors and have ignored every following email & phone call since, which is completely unprofessional. We were not asking for a new driveway, just that they fix what was destroyed. They subcontract almost all facets of the job and obviously don't stand behind their work. What's to stop them from not standing behind an install by a subcontractor, using the same excuse, and you are stuck with a leaky roof? BEWARE do not even ask for a quotation from this company. Go to someone who backs up their work.

Having Gorilla Voltage perform our 200A service was the best choice. They made a full mast replacement & panel upgrade on a 60+ year-old home painless.They had great communication throughout the process with easy to understand explanations & reasonable estimates on time and cost. On site they were on time, clean, communicative and adapted their solutions to our needs on the fly.When people say “I got a guy” they’re probably referring to Nick and his team.

Mario was so lovely to deal with - very responsive, and very knowledgeable. Even though we had a lot of issues with City permits and the EV Charger rebate, he made sure everything worked out, went as smoothly as possible, and was completed before the deadline! I would absolutely recommend him and will call him for any electrical work in the future!

Nick and Gilles at Astral were fantastic. I had a woodstove installation, and they did a great job, start to finish. Very timely, professional, responsive. I'd hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

I used Sussex Solar & Electrical to do 3 things: 1. Install a power diverter to control my water heating system. 2 Install a charging point for my electric vehicle. 3 Install a Nest system to control my heating. The work was all done very well - successful and to time, and I was very pleased with all three jobs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ollie for the work that he did.

Very attentive service and quality work. It was a pleasure working with the Powertec Solar team through my rooftop solar install. Would recommend to anyone looking to get panels put up. They were pleasant and glad to work through the options as well as answer any questions I had before, during and after the installation.

A big thankyou to Powertec Solar for their excellent work in designing, supplying and installing my new solar array. I elected to install solar on my roof utilizing the Greener Homes Grant and Loan program to help fund it. The process of obtaining the grant and the loan was very time intensive, dragging on the process before I could officially engage Powertec to start the work after I had originally reached out to them for a quote. Their team was excellent, working with me through this period and keeping me engaged. Their technicians were very courteous and professional and the overall installation looks excellent. The system is now up and running, working as intended and I have no doubt that I'll be able to rely on Powertec for any troubleshooting in the future should that be needed.Thankyou very much for the excellent work, it was a pleasure doing business with you, highly recommended!

Excellent service in Qualicum. Clarence, our technician, was professional, friendly, and extremely competent. Only necessary work was performed - and the bill incredibly reasonable. The receptionist also was friendly and efficient and the service prompt. I would highly recommend them.

Josh and his team were some of the most exemplary people I've ever had the opportunity to work with. Right from the beginning his incredible customer service, friendly demeanor and knowledgeable approach let me know my project was in good hands. Not only was the team fantastic but the product was incredible too in the last 10 days of having the system installed in my home it's already powered our car for the entire month!..and that's with some crummy weather too.I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to have Josh and his team involved in any electrical project solar or otherwise that you undertake. If I could give six stars I would!
