Vegetarian cafe and deli

Wonderful experience from wonderful people. The food is incredible and they offer something for all to enjoy. We love to see local. We will make sure to have this as one of our stops for groceries from here on out!

This store has a surprising number of choices of vegetarian and vegan foods. There is seafood, chicken, beef, pork, large amounts of vegan jerky, burgers, chicken breast, wheat protein, soy protein. There are also dried seaweed, vegan and vegetarian noodles, different curry sauces, rice mixes, and more. She has close to 400 different products.These are all in freezers and some are in dry packaging on the shelves. Everything is nicely packaged.The owners name is Christina, she is extremely friendly, and is completely at ease with sitting down and chatting with people. She orders food from Malaysia and Taiwan, as well as some from Toronto and Vancouver.

What an uncanny experience this is. Feels like we're cursed or something. After we tried to eat here and had a very awkward experience we looked up reviews and the top reviewer had a nearly IDENTICAL experience. So similar that everyone else thought I was joking. So I'm just going to copy and paste from the previous review (my comments in brackets):I have to admit that i feel a little traumatized after eating here yesterday. I actually feel like we were getting ’punked’. Upon entering we were met with an empty restaurant and two tables with dirty dishes left on the table (there were two dirty tables when we arrived, too!). We could see someone sitting in the back and although we spoke as loud as we could, nobody came out until we rang the bell (same situation, but someone did come out after a moment).The restaurant looks like it used to be a cute space at one time but it felt dirty and run down. When the server brought the menus she even commented on the stains on the paper menus (same comment!). She then went on to give us a list of items that they don’t have (again, us too! No sausages, no soup, not doing omelettes, and then said good luck" before walking away).We should have walked out at that stage but felt bad (we left)...How this could happen twice

Love stopping here in the morning for some soft cookies and an ice cold brew. Great customer service and like a candy store, it's always tempting to grab everything you see (although the waist would not agree). They also serve fresh pretzels here.

Absolutely love this restaurant. I has become a go to for weekday lunches with coworkers. Since this is a temple, you will need a membership (I think it's around $50-$70, a year) and you need to buy tickets at the front ($10 a ticket). It's cashless inside the actual restaurant so don't forget to get your tickets before. Each ticket is used to buy a dish or tea. I highly recommend the laksa with rice noodles and the fruit tea. They also give you toothpicks so you can eat the fruit afterwards. This place is mostly vegan but has some vegetarian option due to the milk they use so be sure to ask them if you are avoiding dairy

I keep seeing Alina Cafe and Eatery on my skip the dishes, and I wanted to give it a try. It is so good. I got a large iced caramel macchiato and some shrimp salad roles.I will definitely be reordering. Their labeling gives it a sweet personal touch.So impressed.

I came across Bean House while searching for a nut free Moon cake (which is not common). I have a nut allergy which makes it difficult to eat any moon cakes in shops. When I entered the store my girlfriend and I were greeted by the friendly workers. They have a cozy and relaxing environment. The owner let us sample different moon cakes since it was our first time there. The soup they serve was delicious and flavourful. We got the chance try the mung bean and red bean dessert bars and they were good. Different from your traditional ice cream bars but much more natural and healthier. The moon cakes in general are very smooth, not dry, flavourful and the design is well made. A great gift for yourself or someone you know. Very professional staff and service! Highly recommend if you're in the area or take a drive to this place to have a light lunch and hang out.

Manchurian was burnt and was not even worth the price we ordered 4 dishes and the quantity of all of them were so low like are we playing or something? We ordered bread sandwiches and they cut one piece of bread in four like what? Not suggested to come here dishes not worth the price.

They have many options for breakfast and lunch! Smoothie bowl was very tasty.

My daughters busy family loved this service. Healthy eating done right.
