A community passionate about making, hacking and sharing. A wide range of tools from electronics, sewing, wood working, metal turning and lasers!Only regularly on Tuesdays to the public if you want to take a peek. Regular member run workshops on a variety of topics: soldering, laser/3d printer operation, fun crafts for kids and more.To whoever says this place is toxic, wow. I get the exact opposite feeling at VHS. It's been a very accepting community for me.

I'm one of the co-founders and owners. I'm giving a well deserved 5 stars the community of makers that have helped us grow and maintain this vitally important resource for your future enjoyment. Thank you to every single person that's participated at Maker Cube - be it through social media post, taking a class, - tour or even starting up your own small business. We work hard to make sure our tools are accurate and ready to use. We care deeply about the success of our members and everyone's overall experience. It keeps me up at night if a customer has a bad experience. Regardless of who is at fault I believe there's always lessons to make future experiences better. I have a small passionate team that I'm proud to have ambassador my company. We will always be better than the last time you visited because I don't believe you're ever done learning. I'm always a fan of resource sharing and waste prevention, and this place is super well run with friendly folks. Have done several home improvement projects in the past year with borrowed tools. A bit bummed they're further out now, but hope to make use of them all the same.

As a new homeowner, the tool library has been a great ressource! No need to buy tools for occasional or one-time use, I can simply borrow them and save on cost (and space storing these tools that would be seldomly used). Staff is also super friendly and helpful.

Every time I visit VHS I go with questions, and if no one there can answer them, they surely can point me in the right direction. For me, I have all the tools I need, VHS is about the collective knowledge at hand, and there is plenty of it. The knowledge there hits areas of metal and wood working to electronics and automation, to textile and paper crafts. It is a diverse group of people who are generally all willing to help.
