David Butera has two sides. The one is polite and attentive (When things are going OK); The other side of him is arrogant and unwilling to admit to his mistakes. This is the side you will see when he is challenged about his dental work.Mr. Butera placed a new crown over one of my teeth that had already been crowned. I had no symptoms of pain in the existing tooth. This was an expensive process and after the dental procedure had been performed, I began to experience increasing pain from that tooth.Mr. Butera put me off saying that the pain would eventually settle down but it didn't.After x raying the tooth again he determined that it needed a root canal and that I would have to go to a surgeon to repair the problem at a cost of between $2000.00 - $3000.00.He would not accept any responsibility for missing the obvious fact that the tooth required a root canal before placement of the new crown.Reluctantly, I took the matter to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and after a full investigation, concluded that Mr. Butera was in the wrong.Mr. Butera is now fulfilling a two year remedial course in light of the College's findings.

I went there for my first dental treatment ever and had an amazing experience. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the time I stepped into the clinic. The doctor was very patient with me during the whole process aa i was getting a little anxious. He provided me with detailed information on how to prevent dental issues in future. My kids also had their first dental appointment. The office is kid-friendly and the staff was so patient and kind with my little one. The doctor took the time to explain everything and made the appointment fun and stress-free. We will definitely be returning to this practice for all of our dental needs!

Had severe anxiety when I first visited the office. Dr. Barron and all the staff were very understanding. Eventuality I became more at ease.Don't think I could have continued going if it wasn't for everyone there.

This is the best dentist I have ever had. Good service, friendly, competent, painless. He will take the time to explain what he’s doing and show you in images. If you want a dentist that all flash with receptionists in uniforms, pristine white walls and halogen lighting he’s not for you. He is a simple family dentist that served me well for several years. He deserves recognition and praise.

We made the switch to Mill Street Family Dental in 2022 and can't be any happier! Dr. Jake and his team are great with our young children and overall are very personable. They truly take the time to get to know their patients, making the environment very friendly. The office's hours are amazing which helps with our busy schedules and overall, the team provides outstanding care to our entire family. I hate going to the dentist. I dread having to go there, I can't stand having things in my mouth, I hate people touching my tongue. I hate it so much I've avoided going for years... until I found Dr Tenser's office.I found him through my uni insurance, and since my first appointment, I just knew I'd be okay going back there moving forward. And even though I now live further away, he's the only dentist I trust to take care of me and my teeth.His staff is extremely competent and accommodating. He understands and respects your boundaries. He's not dismissive and actually takes the times to listen to you, always adapting to make sure you have the most comfortable experience possible.If you hate going to the dentist as much as I do, I can guarantee that you'll be okay with Dr Tenser. He and his team will take care of you in the most professional and compassionate way.

It is absolutely horrible to try to complete all the required paper work for insurance companies for co payments. So instead of the office doing this as they should, and like most of the other dentists in the free world, they pass it on to the patient.

We visited Lara Dentaire for my son to see pediatric dentist Dr. Karine Nadeau. She was beyond words. Long story short my son cannot sit to do his dental work and needed general anesthesia. Her and her entire team made us feel comfortable and safe. The procedure went flawlessly and she made us as parents feel heard and validated when we asked questions. The clinic is beautiful and spotless. Really equipped for dealing with children and adults. The reception staff is warm and helpful. Both our children are now followed by Dr. Nadeau and we are beyond happy with our choice. If you need a excellent doctor and clinic, go see this team.
