Super knowledgeable staff, they have a great selection of whatever you may be looking for, whether it's fish, isopods, snakes, reptiles or tarantulas. They have excellent products and will steer you in the right direction to make sure you find what you're looking for. They also make sure you have all information on the husbandry for the creature you take home so they are properly cared for. 5 STARS!!

The gang here are really awesome and a wealth of knowledge!! Stu is so fantastic And helped immensely with the Transition of my panther chameleon from another source. The knowledge and supplies have kept him very happy. Hornworms are top notch when In stock!

If you want a place where the staff know their stuff - this is it! We've been in multiple times and every single time they will spend all the time with you that you need to answer all your questions in great detail. We are enormously grateful for their help in getting our kid properly caring for her fish. We thought we knew a lot and have realized we barely scratched the surface of aquarium ownership. They've helped us work out water quality, a snail problem, and now she is setting up a live plant aquarium with their help. Listen to their advice they won't lead you astray, plus you get to support a lovely small family business. What more could you ask for?

Amazing reptile store. Lots of experience, always happy to answer questions and give guidance. Also offer boarding for reptiles and or crested gecko was looked after above and beyond!

Wonderful selection of creatures, vivariums, food and anything you could possibly need.But the crowning jewel is the incredible staff with their amazing knowledge and insight. Completely honest and upfront. Never trying to up-sell or over-sell. Just decent honest people with A1 advice.Literally couldn't advise Prairie Aquatics more.Simply put it's the perfect store. Just perfect.Also we have just paid to leave our crested Gecko with them for the long weekend. They took care of him like he is their own. Always has a good selection of fish. The owner cares about their animals and care where they go as well. They will give you the truth, even if it may not be what you want to hear at the time. It's about making sure you succeed as a pet owner, within your budget.Only place we go for what they supply. Can't recommend enough.
