Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. For a Hilton Garden Inn, I thought it would be nice like the Holiday Inn. The room was not cleaned after the last customer, bed was made but pillows were wrinkled and were flat. Maybe they forgot to fold them out of the dryer? It happens. The dinner was enjoyable and warmed us up from the cold. I don’t normally make reviews, but I was disappointed. The front desk always looked stunned and confused when I was checking in/out.

Our first stay in 2020 we stayed for 4 days the staff was great our room was perfect and the view of the harbour was amazing. The owner had given us a set rate for our next visit….Fast forward to April 2023, when we called the people at the front desk where not from the country , they couldn’t find any fixed rate, we said we would go anyway so they told us they would save us a room, we would be there in about 30 minutes…. When we arrived at the front desk they denied ever talking with us on the phone, they had no rooms left and told us to leave the premises. Very poor customer service. We stayed 7 days a at different hotel and had an amazing experience

Spent 3 nights while visiting St Johns.Room was clean and freshened up everyday.Staff was pleasant and I would recommend the breakfast included with the rental.Nice view from the 11 floor.

Employees just don't care. I was walking back to the hotel in the cold. I tried walking through the main front lobby entrance off the street and the automatic doors wouldn't open. There was a sign on the doors that said they were locked at 11pm and to use the side entrance. It was only 8PM so I knocked on the doors to get the attendants attention. Their front desk employee Devang casually broke his attention away from his smartphone for a split second only to glance at me, and casually go back to scrolling on his phone again as though I didn't exist outside in the cold. I walked around the building to find the side entrance, went into the lobby and told him there was something wrong with the door. He just shrugged and said the door is closed" and went back to his phone. Yeah

Totally fine. Just very minor greviances: the bathroom door won't stay open and the sink didn't drain. Staff are phenomenal!

Nice enough hotel, new, clean etc. Overpriced at $280/night. After getting-over that this is what I had to pay to be close to downtown, what really annoyed me was getting charged $14 for a very basic continental breakfast that most $120-150/night hotels provide for free. When checking in, the front desk told me “breakfast is served between …. In the lobby” he never mentioned an additional charge. I ate the very typical sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs you get at all hotels, I got up to leave and the kid handed me a bill. I was shocked. I paid it, and immediately went to the front desk and checked out. I stayed at another hotel for the remainder of the week. I will return periodically for business, but I won’t stay here based on principal.

Although the hotel seems new and fairly clean I can only give 3 stars due to the incredibly loud heat/AC within the rooms. It was so unbearably loud even with ear plugs and pillow over my head that I had to turn off the heat and put on my winter sweater and use my scarf as an extra layer in order to get any sleep. I could actually hear the system from another room.

A great Hilton property with reasonable rates. The location is really good. Customer service is decent. Breakfast is not bad but can be expensive. The hotel has parking. Recommended.

Had a good stay at this hotel. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious and clean. Reception has a homey vibe, we love their indoor swimming pool and staffs are amazingly accomdating. We will definitely stay here again when visiting St. Johns.
