2 months ago I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out while under anesthesia and the surgeons there did an amazing job! I was so nervous but let me tell you…leave your worries at the door! Affordable and good.

We're 250kms, 3.5-5 hours drive depending on traffic & time of day, from UofT, so I wasn't sure about this, but so glad I went! Here's my story: our DDS sent my referral Friday late afternoon & UofT quickly scheduled consultation appointment for Tuesday morning. Root canal scheduled that Friday 9am. Tooth was too cracked to root canal but was walked down to oral surgery where they got me right in & I was on the way home by noon! I had 5 star service & treatment from grad endodontics receptionist Jackie, endo. in training Dr. Christina Sperou DDS, oral surgery receptionist Dale & DDS in training Darrien who extracted my molar in one piece! (And Dr. Sperou & Darrien's assistants ((thanks for reminding me to breathe through the extraction-it really helped)) whose names I've forgotten-I apologize.)Thank you all for treating me so well & so kindly! Cost of services about half, or less, what I was quoted elsewhere. Everything patiently & well explained. Work well performed by competent students & well supervised by qualified teachers. We'll be back should we require future dental work.Update: the accounting department here is letting down the side!

The Caribbean telephone receptionist (I don't know her name) is very rude and she has a really bad attitude. I could not even get an appointment scheduled because of her hostility. I am not sure if she is usually like this, or if she is having a bad day. I only asked her one question as to why she needed my credit card details over the phone and whether that policy was a new or an existing one. Her response was discourteous she said how are you going to tell me about my job" . Her tone and attitude was not appreciated. I just asked because my mother and sister

Superb experience. The staff were kind and accommodating and the graduate dentist (shoutout to Dr. Emilie) was more thorough in explaining stuff than my regular dentist.

If you are going for simple procedures such as dental cleaning or uncomplicated filling, it does same you a lot of $$. But for any other procedures, be prepared to keep going back for appts, treated irreverently by instructors and just plain frustration for all the expense and time you'll be wasting. The first time I went here as a patient was because of a needed root canal. It took several appointments but somehow, all went well. Its for the 2nd phase, crown installment, that it went downhill. First I was assigned a new student as the student who competently did my root canal already graduated. After painful drillings to chisel off my molar, 5 impressions that kept being rejected by the people who approved them for submission to the laboratory, I still am without crown, left with an uneven bite, painful jaw, anxiety and deeper frustrations. Twice, the temporary crown came off and I have to keep going back, which became even more of an excuse for the attending instructor to come up with a different plan wherein they inflict more discomfort. I should have left it off with the root canal and just went to a regular dentist for my crown. Worst part is, I was made to pay the half of the lab fee and crown cost as I was told, it will never be approved without payment. What a lie! And now, I doubt I'll even get a permanent crown or even get refunded. My mental health has also been greatly affected, with all the anxiety, pain, discomfort and frustrations. I don't even know if they treat their patients like human beings.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. I been calling since September to be a patient. I leave msg for them all the time and no one ever gets back to me. There’s no one ever there to take any calls so you have no choice but to leave a msg. When you do leave a msg they do not bother returning your call. They do not follow up with appointments. They receptionist is doing a terrible job and needs to get fired!

Went for wisdom teeth extraction yesterday. I'm still a little drowsy by the time of writing this, but overall very positive experience! All the doctors and nurses (a team of 6-7 iirc) has only been caring and supporting.I was definitely nervous because I was taking all 4 teeth out at once and they were badly impacted. It went super well tho! I practically fell asleep as soon as they put the iv in me and when I woke up it's all done with minimal pain.Signing up as a new patient at first may be a little difficult because it takes a while for them to take your calls and respond to your emails and eventually put your info into their systems. But please be patient because it's totally worth! For a price way lower than a regular dentistry and a treatment just as professional I wouldn't have gone to anywhere else.I didn't get a chance to remember all the doctors, nurses and residents' name but I appreciate all you guys nonetheless. Thank you U of T Faculty of Dentistry :)

Great experience, the students and teachers are very friendly and professional. The teacher was also very funny, which helped ease my anxiety. Nothing was rushed and they made sure I had no pain while extracting my tooth! Thank you very much! I got quoted $298 by my old dentist, but this school saved the day and was only 100$ ! I’ll be back
