I have been dealing with a chronic pain condition for years and my 5 years old daughter had problems with her weight issues, low weight. My previous doctor moved to another city and I was accepted by Dr Kanu very nice and caring doctor. Most of the time I was seen by the nurse practitioner ( Fariba Shahin). She did exam me and noticed that my pain is related to something that did not make sense to me but when she explained I understood. She referred me and she called the specialist's office personally in front of me to make sure that they received the fax and emphasized that I needed to be seen ASAP.My daughter had eating problem and doesn't like to see doctors but the way that this nurse practitioner communicate with her she likes to see her and listenes whatever she tells her. She is gaining weight gradually and eating better than before. I think we should be fair when we judge and it is important that how we behave and to know the lomit of our expectations.

Horrible clinic. 0 Stars.Dr. Kanu is thorough but is rarely available.The NP (Fariba Shahin) lacks empathy and is not an effective listener. She prescribed me a medication for allergies without detailing any potential side effects. When I asked, she deferred me to the pharmacy, but they failed to provide it as well.I was under the impression when I booked the appointment that we would do an allergy test (I specified this with reception when booking), but she had me out the door with a $70 medication in less than 15 mins.It turns out that in 2020 the US FDA updated the label for this medication, as it could be dangerous to someone with a medical history such as mine (which this clinic has full access to).She also told me to get a hearing test for persistent tinnitus but threw her hands up and said “i don't know, any” when I asked if she could recommend a hearing clinic.I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I understand there’s a lot of burnout in the medical field right now, but this clinic has become little more than a prescription mill.Service was unacceptable. If you’re looking for competent and caring healthcare, you won’t find it here.

This is NOT a doctors office. Toxic place. Front staff is rude, ignorant, ill-mannered, screaming at you. Dr. Kanu, greeting, What do you want?" Lacking compassion

I don't normally rate but have no option but to do so. Did a lab test over a week ago and had to call in several times to have it explained to me. Up till now nothing from them. Doctors should treat and address patients' concerns with respect and care. I was told by the receptionist that nothing is wrong with my test if there's an issue the doctors would have reached out to me. Since when did receptionists explain test results to patients? I know the way I feel and need to talk to my family doctor about it but can't and not sure why. Is it because the doctors are not getting the message to contact the patients or they just don't care about their patients. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Now I'm beginning to appreciate my previous doctors who would always care for me. They contacted me as soon as they received my test results and would explain if there's any issue or not. Never had to chase them for test results. I am worried about my results and feel something is not right but there's no one to speak to. I think they just don't care about their patients. Looking for a different family doctor

Great service and reception. Dr. Kanu is awesome and attentive to my needs as a patient. He’s been my physician for years and one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

I just dropped this office as my family doctor. The previous doctor, Dr. Awad, was an amazing doctor whom I miss terribly, next to these new ones. He was amazing! I also miss his staff as the new staff is awful!I write this because Dr. Kanu doesn't look far enough back on my records when prescribing medications. He prescribed me something I've already taken and didn't work for me. He also has prescribed me a medication that should have been taken with an antipsychotic, claiming it would help with my anxiety and fibromyalgia pain. Meanwhile not prescribing the antipsychotic. It stopped working, made me gain weight and eventually lead to suicidal thoughts and extreme depression and dependency on it. I stopped taking it right away, once I realized what was going on.He's promised me therapy sessions and I've yet to receive a call from anyone and calling and asking the staff for anything isn't worthwhile because they never call you back! I shouldn't have to harass the staff or doctor to be taken seriously or to be heard.In appointments I also feel rushed and I'm never completely heard and not everything I've needed addressed gets resolved because he rushes onto the next person. I feel he doesn't take pain and mental health seriously enough.

Dr.Kanu is very rude to the patient He never done any followup of the patientI was pregnent and he never book an apointment with meNever give me a call to update my report nd when I ask for it he became rude and stand up very rudely.Very bad experianceNever go to him

This is the worst clinic ever. Dr. Ituwa doesn't care about patients. He always cancelled the appointment at the last moment and sometimes they don't inform patients about the cancellation of the appointment. It seems like he is just doing his business and making money. I would prefer to give him zero stars.

Dr. Kanu is our family doctor and all stuff are very friendly. The space is very clean. There is TV | Pharmacy | And Good Doctor| Parking Free Only For Patients| Limited Space But Just G R E A T |
