The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

I’ve recently switched to this pharmacy and so happy I did.The same 2 ladies have been there all the times I have been in and they are both so kind and knowledgeable.It’s so easy to call in and get assistance as well.

Absolutely amazing staff! I highly recommend this place, i have told all my friends and family to go here just from how amazing they are. They even know me by name now, i cannot say a bad thing about them!

Words can not express the amount of gratitude and respect I have for these ladies! I literally finished my last cancer treatment and needed a compound mixture made to help with my post radiation side effects (to help me swallow.)After being turned away from 2 other pharmacies (the first one simply does not do compound mixtures and gave suggestions of other places to try, the second one stated “it’s Friday and we do not do compound mixtures given it’s the weekend. You would have to wait till Monday. It was before 4pm and the pharmacy closed at 8pm that evening. The lady suggested I drive to the south or west side of town in rush hour to see if I could get this filled. She did not even ask if anyone else in the store could help, I was merely just turned away.)Out of desperation, I called the Medicine Shoppe knowing they closed in less than an hour. At this time, I was a little emotional thinking I would have to suffer all weekend with no relief as I was being told to drive all across Saskatoon. In my experience working in the healthcare field, this type of solution is pretty simple to make and administer. Plus, these places would be closing soon and I was already pretty exhausted. When I called and spoke to Pam at the Medicine Shoppe, she was so supportive on the phone and ensured her compounder could make up the solution. When I arrived, Crystal, Pam and Courtney (owner) showed so much compassion it was amazing. They were busy with other things, but ensured me they would stay late if required to make sure I had something to use over the weekend. They even gave me something to take the edge off my throat while I was waiting. Once completed, they provided information, explanations, how to contact them if this does not work, and offered to reach out to the physicians on my behalf to find something that would work.I can not explain how amazing this place is and how each of these individuals truly care about the patients who walk in those doors. For those who need a pharmacy or are looking to switch, I highly suggest checking them out. Thank you ladies for all your kindness, empathy, professionalism, knowledge and assistance. I am truly grateful I was drawn to your location! I will be back!Thank you so much for being you!
