Ichiban Sushi House - Japanese and Korean Restaurant

This place requires a reservation for dining in so you guys have to call ahead before coming in. And of course they do require a mask. So upon entering you will be assisted by the staff and you will have to sanitize. Then you will need to write down some of your details if your dining in like they need your name and phone no. just in case for contact tracing. As per the service and food wise, it was always great that you would want to come back there every single time. Because they are friendly and welcoming. Food is amazingly fresh and filling. They also have the best takoyaki that I can finished 2 orders of those by myself. It's a must try.

Ichiban used to be our go-to for takeout place for sushi but I’ve been finding the quality of their fish to have decreased quite a bit. Their sushi trays are still a great value for the quantity of fish, but the quality really has taken a step down especially with their tuna and salmon sushi. Would still definitely get take out from this location but it’s no longer our family’s favourite.

Heartwarming Japanese food. From their ramen noodles to their sushi rolls, everything tasted absolutely delicious. Loved the beef ramen noodles and also wanted to try the chicken one. absolutely loved the caterpillar roll.Go hungry because you'll want to try everything they have. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Nice restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The take out was quick and easy to order. Enjoyed the California Roll but the crab in the spider roll was not great. Would go back to try some different sushi items.

It does not exist anymore unfortunately. This has been a great restaurant. There is a sign on the door about the termination of the lease :S

Really wholesome guy is running it. Absolutely loved everything, sushi chef is doing almost everything by himself and it is the best salmon I’ve eaten. Portions were great size and very fulfilling. All the 8 or 10 courses were very beautifully served and I admire his commitment that he is collecting the raw products from the market. This experience is far away from western fast sushi places. Also very Japanese atmosphere.

We went there to have some thick noodles after seeing them on a Japanese Netflix show. We were greeted with complimentary Miso soup which was just out of this world soothing. My wife usually doesn't like Miso soup but loved this one. We also had complimentary glass noodles served which were just perfect in texture and flavor. Delicious. As for the noodles, I got the Seafood, my wife got the Beef. Both were super tasty and endulging. I would recommend the Beef after tasting my wife's, since the beef was spiced so well it felt more like sausage. Definitely going there again to have a bowl of beef noodles. We also tried two specialty rolls, the Monster and Caterpillar rolls. They were huge, and we loved them both, although the Caterpillar roll was our favorite because of the perfect Avocado texture. Overall, this will be our go to Sushi place in Burlington on our way back from workouts. Loved everything.

Excellent and fresh sushi! The sashimi was thick and tasty. There's a wide selection of maki rolls with very large portions. The service was also top notch. Our server was super friendly and welcoming. I will be back soon!!

Our family loves going here. They take a lot of care and passion in preparing the food and you can tell by the chefs and server that prepare and provide it to you. Lunch specials are well priced and the bento boxes are very good compared to others I have tasted. Service is always exceptional and they always welcome you with a strong ‘Hello!” and ‘goodbye’ in Japanese.

The place is very clean... Good decor and location has lots of parking... Staff are attentive and take care of you... They will provide suggestions and information about selections. Sushi was very good... Red dragon roll was huge with large cuts of salmon riding the very fresh rolls... Same cant be said for the Black dragon.. while the rolls were very fresh and tasty... The amount of unagi presented was lacking... Cuts were minimal at best and 3 out of the 9 pieces were without. This is unfortunate as I really enjoyed what was there. At 19$ a roll... I'm expecting what was ordered... No 5 star here.
