Great atmosphere, even better coffee. This is great place to bring a friend for a quick snack and chat. There is plenty of seating inside and out, plenty of free parking. I highly recommend this location.

Don't like the prices. Starbucks is the benchmark in this industry. Pastries are so much better than your competition. Definitely winning in that category. Everything else is average at most. How could the prices be higher than Starbucks. Your coffee's caffine content is much lower than let's say Starbucks but tastes better. The price of a large dripped coffee ( dark or light roast ) costs more for the amount you're getting than your competition. A lot more flavour and boldness though. If this was McCafe, than totally justifiable. Costs less and less caffine but if you're inputting your company into the prestige category in the coffee business, than isn't viable. Take your seating of instance! It's very uncomfortable and not engineered for comfort. This review isn't directed towards this location, but the entirety of every other location of your company. As I have visited many over the years. Dont take it personal. Many entry level coffee shops share the same issue. If a few of the concerns get addressed, many of us would definitely be more inclined to think about JJ bean more often than other coffee shops, when in need. It isn't like your ROIs & ROAs are in the negatives. You source to 40% of the independent or chained coffee shops in British Columbia. Not to mention restaurants, etc. Cost of raw materials for your sake is definitely not in the negatives or diminshing either. Why the mark up then? Rent & salary is your biggest overhead expense. Yet the shops using your products charge less for the exact same items ( large drip coffee ) when ordered. Yes it is true you can't control their prices but still I'm befuddled.

First time here and had such an amazing time. Met up with some friends from different parts of the city. The seating here is so great - so many different options and they have a back study/computer room.Having a lot of table space spent the afternoon there with a warm drink, vegan snacks and played some boardgames. Really wonderful spot.

The Double Baked Chocolate Croissant was a revelation. I am used to room temperature baked goods at most coffee shops, but was very happily surprised when the croissant was warm and gooey inside. Crusted in almonds on the exterior with a good crunch giving way to the gooey (think chocolate custard) was a tasty way to start my day. Of course, as always, their coffee is delightful.

Great coffee, atomosphere, and service. The staff were extremely friendly and made drinks and food fresh to order. It was my first time there and I highly recommend it if you are ever in the neighborhood

Great coffee, warm and cozy atmosphere and endless selection of creamers at the condiments area (Milk, skim milk, Soy, Almond and Cream...at no extra cost! Lol). It's also next to Park & Tilford Gardes which is a great little spot to pause at.

It goes to show you that unless you were trained you just don’t know. Ordered a Doppio macchiato. First clue was “what’s that” so I said double espresso with foam, essentially. It came in tiny espresso cup overflowing. So asked if they could make it in The small tulip cup, total confusion. Guy took it, poured it into bigger cup and added milk. So it’s milky cold espresso. Add the $4.10 for a muffin and the in tip, and today was bad value. Hope they:A. Have a consistent cup for a doppio / different depending on where you go. To me it seems that a straight up espresso just fits in the traditional espresso cup. So if 1 shot ok, 2 use a different cup.B. Realize the amazing muffins need to get back to their old ways, not smaller and more expensive.I love this place but like the bags and cup taxes, this get me through as fast as we can, mentality will turn people away.

Awesome service and amazing baked goods and drinks! One of the best London Fogs around. It's also a great place to sit and study, get some work done or have a coffee date with your partner or a friend. Located right next to the Park & Tilford Gardens in case you want to get a walk in with your coffee!
