I lost my puppy suddenly at noon today to the Canine Distemper Virus and was devastated; I had never had to cremate a pet before, but Donna walked my brother—who then walked my mother and I—through it via phone call and allowed us to book a rush appointment for three hours later.When we arrived to their home, Mike met us and explained to us the process and allowed me to say goodbye to him before he was placed into the machine. He also honored my request to not process the cremains before returning them to me. He was very tender and mild-mannered when talking to us.The kindness, patience, and understanding that Glory Bound showed my family, Nibbler, and I was very soothing and made this incredibly difficult experience easier for us. I both love and miss Nibbler more than anything I have ever loved or missed in my life, but it eases me somewhat to know that Nibbler, even in death, was treated with respect in their hands.Thank you so much. ♡♡

I called in today for a friend and it reminded me of the service I received them Glory Bound about 6 years ago.I could not find a place to cremate my hamster back then because of its size. But Glory Bound took her, and the owners were amazing, they were assuring us every step. They patiently answered all the concerns I had, let us know how long the process would be, and even explained why the ashes did not look white.

Yesterday I lost one of my best friends, Gus. One of the hardest parts afterwards is trusting someone to handle your friends' remains. Glory Bound was recommended to my by someone I trust very much, and Glory Bound did not let me down. Not only were they incredibly understanding and empathetic as I bawled my eyes out but they handled him gently and with the same care I did. Today I picked my boy back up and I couldn't be more impressed with the work they did. The box is beautiful and very tasteful and the plaster imprint of his paws were perfect. So thank yiu again Glory Bound for making this terrible time just a little bit easier. Highly recommend

I lost my beautiful West Highland White Terrier at 17 years old on Dec 26. I reached out to Glory Bound (on the recommendation of a friend) and was contacted back the same day. Mike & his son Jamie were respectful, patient, and very kind. I was able to take her there myself, (Quiet, forested area in Sooke), and was met at my car. I had her ashes, and her paw print back the same day so I could take her home with me. Thank you for making a heart wrenching time a little easier to bear.

Our Charlie was our angel on this earth that filled our hearts and souls. The family were very comforting in this time of sadness. They made this tough time easier with their kindness and support. We felt that they honoured the love we had for Charlie with a gentleness and kindness that was heartfelt.

Lovely family owned business. Made my dog and family's transition so much easier. So kind and answered many phone calls and gently fulfilled all our wishes. Extremely reasonable in price and very professional services. Our cremation urn, necklaces and paw print were fantastic. Can't thank you enough for how beautiful you were to us.

Sadly this is my fourth time reaching out to Glory Bound. I personally have utilized Glory Bounds services for my lost fur babies. One of my clients recently had his beloved dog of 20 years pass away and of course they were extremely distraught and heartbroken. I won’t get into details but it was a rather unique situation upon picking up his pet and Glory Bound was nothing but compassionate and patient. You can tell they are sincere when they say they are sorry for your loss when they see the pain in your eyes. I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and willing to deal with a unique situation so delicately and professionally. No judgment, just absolute compassion, gentleness and professionalism. Thank you so much for just being wonderful people. You make a very sad situation that much easier to get through in such painful times.

I've lived in Sooke for over 16 years and never knew Glory bound existed. After saying goodbye to our 20 year old cat I was referred to glory bound by my vet. I was able to say goodbye to my fur baby at home, as soon as she was gone and I was ready glory bound picked her up. A couple days later (on a Sunday at dinner time) I was called and asked if I was ready to have her brought back...30 minutes later her ashes where delivered back to me. I was shown nothing but kindness and sympathy. I found their services to be more than reasonably priced. Thank you for making such a hard time more of a gental process.
