Pond Service Pro

Bobby and Rachael came to my home to see our 3 ponds. One was leaking and as they presented themselves as professionals and looked like honest people, I trusted them. Big mistake. They are con artists. First, he literally pressured me to give him $2000 down towards a $6000 job which he said was for materials. In fact, that money was used to repair his truck. after washing the ponds with bleach, doing what he called primer ..which was the actual primer but not the whole ponds ..just here and there. They pretended to be working . Then he wanted another $1500 to buy the paint which he originally took $2000 for. I gave him $1000 under pressure and hoping he would fix my ponds. But he has now taken off with the $3000. Nothing done. There is another similar review. He does not have driver license, I am not even sure if he gave his own and his friends address correct. Please be aware. I just hope he cannot con any more people. This is how they make their living I guess.

Took my family's money and ran. Job barely even started, always an excuse not to show up and do the job Bobby was paid to do.Pathetic.

Buyer beware: Rachel and Bobby are not Pond Pros, they are Pond Con Artists.There is a reason there are no reviews for this company. I guarantee they cannot verify having done any of the ponds on their website. They couldn't restore a 5 x 2 pond. theyu initially quoted me $2800 and agreed to do it for $2000. All the materials were provided minus a $80.00 pump.They did the least amount they possibly could. They did a below average job on the look of my pond but I could have fixed that myself. Most importantly, my pond doesn't work. The water needs to be filled up every alternate day, which never happened before they 'restored' it.At first I asked for my money back and they wouldn't. I gave them ample opportunity to be fair, suggesting getting at least half my money back since I have to rehire a real pro but they would not be reasonable at all.

I am convinced at Bobby is a con artist. My in laws have a hole in their backyard that was supposed to be a pond. Similar to other reviews the “material costs” collected went towards rent or truck repairs then more money was requested. He repeated cancels the days he says he is coming to work on their pond. He will not give receipts for materials purchased and will not allow them to purchase materials themselves. I will remove this review if the hole ever turns into a pond.Update: A year later and here we are, I am helping finish this pond ourselves with Bobby having disappeared completely last fall with promises of getting in touch in the spring. We cut and folded that liner ourselves. Bobby provided us with a “fun” DIY family pond activity. We just paid him a few thousand to dig the hole.
