Just wanted to say my experience with fairstone was great Friendly people Very experienced And knowledgeable Any questions you ask were always answered and explained Was treated more as a friend Then a customer Thank you so very much I appreciate everything you've done

Gave them my information... said I would be good to go with a co sign.. they ran two credit checks and one on my co sign and then say I cant because a computer said... thanks fairstone for lowering my credit score even more and my cosigner's aswell...... dont make promises next time.. you's made my life worse

Two star review for the staff and how nice they are, they are also very quick and easy to deal with. That being said please be careful with loans from this place, interest rates are sky-high and they don’t tell you that interest is calculated per day on some loans. They also do not make it clear that extra insurance on the loan is optional. It is already added onto the paper before they even speak to you about it (they receive benefits for selling you the insurance). They take you through the documents before signing and explain everything to you, which is great. Except they leave out the most important parts on purpose. They take advantage of people, be warned.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing customer service, amazing workers, amazing experience, just amazing...and the Branch Manager Tammy is simply fantastic. I recommend Fairstone to everyone and anyone that needs some financial assistance. We all do from time to time, and they made it a breeze. Great place to rebuild your credit. The staff are great in thunder bay especially tammy, who is always pleasant and works hard to fix any problems that may arise. I recommend them if you need to rebuild your credit. My payments were affordable. Thanks fairstone!

Super friendly workers and helpful for certain things. But they take their time with issues and lack of communication is a problem. And the high interest on loans makes repayment take forever.

You mean Sharkstone, its cheaper to just pay off your credit cards at 18% on your own if you need to consolidate or save your money to buy anything. Financing a item is fine if you bring the balance to zero dollars before all the interest accrues at the end of the month limit. Just another Money Mart like any other, that has a nice facelift. Users beware, be careful, dont get stuck in the money owing trap. I give 2 stars only cause if your smart you can pay off the financing before the end date.

My husband and I have had the most appreciative and professional attention and service from Tina. She was so detailed and helped us figure the best way to do things to better help our finances. We were very pleased with how she treated us and understood our wishes and got us to the perfect state. We walked in as strangers and felt like friends when all was said and done. We definitely recommend this company and its staff. They were all friendly and made sure we stayed safe with this new normal in the Covid times.
