I had an appointment booked for a warranty claim on my remote starter. After an hour and 45 mins they say they can not locate my remote starter and I need to rebook and wait till a new one arrives…A complete waste of my time. Why would you book someone in when you aren’t ready to actually do your job. It’s not like I booked this appointment last minute, it was scheduled well in advance.Very unprofessional and inconsiderate, they didn’t offer anything for their mistake. Aside from saying your next visit will be free of charge. Seriously buddy It would’ve been free of charge anyways because this is a warranty claim!

Paid around $1000 to get a car starter installed in my car back in Sept/Oct, 3 months later and I have had nothing but problems. And if you try with the remote or App, you have to wait up to 15 minutes before you can start it with the key. I have an appointment scheduled, but the best they can do is 2 1/2 weeks.

I had a solace alarm starter installed on my Tundra in 2014 at CR and was very happy with it. Fast forward to last week and my 2 way remote broke so I called CR and asked if I could buy another. They told me the remote is discontinued but to come down to see if they could help. I went yo the west location and Vaughn (12 volt specialist) helped me. He grabbed a box of old remote parts and did a bit of mixing and matching with spare parts and set me up with a refurbished unit in 20 mins that was like new. This is why I give my business to CR - quality install, amazing customer service. If you’re on the fence about coming to CR, this is me telling you why they are the best.

Callled for a remote starter new key fob they did not have any in stock and recommended trying to get one from their competitors who had one in stock. The competitor wanted $60 for 2 minutes to sync the remote fob to the vehicle Certified went above and beyond and offered to program the remote for free. Would highly recommend these guys for their customer service. Good to see a awesome company still with great service values.

I had a aftermarket stereo installed, since my factory radio quit working, had the install done on December 21 2022. The system sounded horrible, called to inquire about why it sounded so bad, pretty much received reasons why it sounded bad. Only had one speaker & the factory sub working. After taking it back on December 27 2022 only had 4 out of 7 speakers and no sub working. After going back and forth with the so called GM, they took the head unit out and refunded my money. Had a new factory unit installed by a ford dealer & it sounds like it did when I bought the truck brand new, but the sub is still not working. Called once again and spoke with the same so called GM, he told me to take it back to where I had the sub installed? I bought the truck brand new & I never had the sub install, the GM who apparently knows everything about car audio said that Ford does not come with the Kicker sub, I offered to email him the Build sheet from the factory but since he knows it all it he did not want to hear it & pretty much hung up on me. I know for a fact that everything was perfectly working fine before the APIM went on my stereo. Certified has taken zero responsibly for my sub not working since they messed up my FACTORY subwoofer. Reading over the comments it sounds like the install manager & the GM are not very experienced at anything at Certified. I will never recommend Certified Radio for anything in the future to anyone.

Used to be my go to place for car audio stuff. Place kind of lost its personal touch with certain staff not there anymore. They were also not very good at dialing in our system. Overhead door was shut on us after me throwing some questionable eyes at the extreme loud interference noises coming from unplugging rca's at high volume levels.

Bryce and Lyle at the west end location just assisted me with a system for our boat. I could not believe the neatness of the install. Flawless. 2 thumbs up to the installers / techs at Certified. Great service from start to finish. Lyle and Bryce took the time to walk through everything with me after install, ensuring I was fully satisfied. Thanks to the entire team for a job well done.

Truck would not start due to battery being drained, dealer ship disconnected command starter that certified radio installed, no issues starting after the fact for a month. Certified unable to find why their command starter was causing the problem. Unwilling to accept the fact it was their equipment causing the issues.Do your self a favour stay away.Certified radio has gone down hill.Per you response, I dropped my truck off at 8, needed it by noon. That’s 4 hours to do the required tests. The battery is less than a year old and checked out fine with a full diagnostic, by a competent company. The truck starts with the key with the starter certified installed the battery is dead, clearly it drains the battery, as there is no issue when the command starter is disconnected. Trying to explain this simple concept to the sales person was absolutely pointless, they don’t listen and nothing is their fault, typical millennial. After talking over the phone to several other shops they all agreed with out looking at the truck it was the starter.Certified radio is a horrible place!

This place has installed systems in 2 of my vehicles. One has a mysterious fault that blows fuses in the locking system constantly, the other just seems to forget it's programing and dosnt work at all. Have tried to have them fixed on several occasions but they only work a few days then fail again. And every time they act like I'm such a nuisance like it's not their problem. At this point, I'm just writing off the thousands of dollars and sticking with a more professional installer. These guys are a certified waste of...Post response comment- My actual name and my company name is definitely in your system. So I should have to wait 2 more weeks for you to fix your bad work, while u help other customers first? Like I haven't already paid for a service u haven't done properly yet?? How much more unprofessional does this get? And only after I vent about it online. Ha!
