I had a very complicated international custody issue to deal with - Bruno Sharpe was AMAZING. From the beginning he was calm, very thorough, professional and represented me so well and effectively in court. Additionally, I found him to be compassionate while balancing keeping us on track with extremely tight deadlines.Genuine and Honest.He went above beyond and would recommend him to anyone seeking council.

Do NOT hire this lawyer! If it was possible to provide only a quarter of one star for Susan Galarneau, I would. I hired her for my child custody case, I was owed a lot of money. The first thing she did, was file the WRONG motion in court. All emails sent to me were full of factual errors as well as multiple spelling and grammar errors. She knew I was a night shift worker yet would request documents from me at 1pm with a deadline for submission of 4pm on the same day. When we went to court, my case was not heard because the Judge happened to be a good friend of hers and this caused a conflict of interest. As an experienced lawyer, she should have known this and rescheduled my court appearance. She did not. Furthermore, she transferred my case to one of her apprentices. I still was charged the fees for the court appearance. I was charged for multiple documents which had to be resubmitted because of HER errors too. After almost 3 years, I fired her and gave up. Lost thousands of dollars. Avoid at all costs!

Rebecka Angell was the worse choice of a lawyer I could possibly thought about hiring. When I first interacted with her she seemed to listen and had her heart on her sleeve this changed within a week of being her client. Please I recommend not dealing with this lawyer as she put me in an awful position in family court.

I had retained Bruno Sharpe, paid my retainer in full and things seemed to be going good. Mr Sharpe then became unreachable by phone/e-mail.. I have since fired Mr Sharpe. I have now spent the past 2 months chasing Mr Sharpe for the remainder of my retainer money that is held in trust... and ZERO RESPONSE. If you are looking for legal assistance do yourself a favor and keep looking. Please heed my warning and avoid this firm.!!

I recently tried to hire Bruno Sharp for my family case in child custody..The Galarneau office make you fill out this intake form that speaks about yourself and your case and they also include a document for you to handover your credit card before your first free consultation. On the first free consultation I had with Mr Sharp, he was asking me questions about things that I had filled out in the intake form. He asked many questions that where already provided to him. This unfortunately showed that Mr Sharp read none of my documents and that the free consultation was pretty much a waste of time. after i emailed him politely that I had concerns on hiring him with what happen on the first consultation he then emailed me back to find another lawyer and took zero accountability for his mistake to not overlook documents before speaking with me. . He then advised me of my Tone..wich was a polite email pointing out his mistakes as reprisal.I do not recommend Bruno Sharp unfortunately because of the level of professionalism and due diligence in his work. Also the fact that he couldn't admit to making a mistake. I hope this opens up the eyes to any canadien citizens looking for family law help... don't waste your time. Mr Sharp couldn't even take notes down when i started verbally answering his questions.The customer service on being herd was horrible and he treated me like an idiot by explain things I already knew. Being a buisness owner and self representing.Mr Sharp kept talking about a retainer 3 times to be exact...So this gentleman expect a retainer or for me to hire him when he can't even read his clients intake forms...I really hope they change there ways with there clients instead of just dropping them instead of taking accountability and truly helping people out.I hope people are careful with lawyers and watch them like carefully as many do not perform there due diligence.

This lawyer does not care about her clients children could be telling her they're being abused and she does nothing she cares more about the Children's Aid societies then she cares about the children because as long as Children's Aid keeps removing children from families she has clients she even will defend the Children's Aid Society when they don't show up to court and speak on their behalf that's not a lawyer that's a mole and a troll

I have dealt with them many times and never had any issues. I would recommend them.

Terrible experience with Sue, my aunt and I went to meet with this lawyer because my aunt was doing a reverse chip mortgage on her home in order to help me and my family purchase our first home and avoid CHMC fees. This lawyer was very rude to me, her assistant looked beyond unprofessional, the office was in complete disarray. She then said to my aunt if I were you I wouldn't do this and sign. My aunt was in complete shock.... As we had set everything up with another lawyer for our agreement to repay. I understand lawyers need to give there client all the facts including the bad. But to be personal and say If I was you this is what I would do..... You're not paid to say if I was you... You're paid to give accurate information. I have since spoken to the reverse mortgage company and they have removed this lawyer from there list to avoid having there future clients go through this terrible experience. Would never recommend or even speak to these people again.We left there speechless, good news is we left and went to speak to another lawyer who was great and even agreed that this lawyer crossed the line. He even knew who we were speaking about. All said and done papers were signed and we will soon own our first home.

Hi, I contacted Galarneau & Associates for a mortgage and title change. (add my wife to the title) The work was completed properly but as for my experience with them, everything went wrong. The initial price I was quoted was way less than what I was billed. When I called to question the invoice amount, they found another mistake they made and charged me yet another fee higher than the original invoice amount. I hope others do not experience this with this law firm. We were considering other work with them but I will never deal with this firm again.
