One Beauty Academy Grande Prairie

As a former student at this school I learned absolutely a lot from them and am always able to go in and get a refresher on what h do not remember from my schooling. I 100% reccomend this as a school to attend because the teachers are absolutely amazing and they train the students with the students best interest in mind. The student stylist make it even more amazing to be able to attend and be a client every now and again it make me really happy and I always leave feeling pampered and relaxed.

My stylist was Leah and she was AMAZING! I just cannot say enough good things about her! She had an awesome attitude toward learning and she was so personable! I was impressed with the knowledge of the instructors. My cut and color turned out better than I expected. It turned out perfect! Leah did an absolutely excellent job with my balayage, cut, bangs and undercut. I will be going back to this establishment for sure and hopefully will be able to book in with her again. And it was reasonably priced! It did take 7 hrs but for the price I didn't mind. It's a great way for students to get experience.

They don’t return your call when trying book an appointment nor do they like answering their phone. Do better !

My first experience resulted in a botched ombre (patchy, spotty, all different lengths) that the teacher glanced at and passed off as good after reminding the stylist a few times to 'saturate the hair so it doesn't end up spotty'. I decided to give it a second go a while later. I booked an appointment for 9am on a friday. Showed up at 8:50 to the doors locked so waited. Doors still remained locked at 9:20 when i left. I called four times and left a message and still, to this very moment, no response. Highly disappointed.

Never had a bad experience :-) definitely my place of choice

I am a former student at One Beauty Academy. My experience in hair school set me up for the amazing career that I have today! The teachers are supportive and happy to share their knowledge. They really do set their students up for success! My hair school teachers continue to support me in my career and I'll never forget where it all began. If you're thinking about hair school, I highly suggest One Beauty! It's never too late! I have my dream career and dream clients and could not have done it without One! I visited One Beauty Academy for the first time on Monday and was very happy with the service and exceptional value.
