Blackline Power

We had a great experience with Blackline Power. Their installation team was very friendly and installed our panels and racks in challenging conditions. The electrical team hooked it all up and had it running soon after the inspections were complete. There was a small glitch in the software at the beginning but was looked after right away and it has been smooth sailing for more than a year now. The system outputs more than the team at Blackline Power estimated which is a testament to delivering more than promised. I would recommend them to anyone.

Knew next to nothing about solar. Blackline was very patient with us in explaining the ins and outs. Never a hard sell, discussed the pros and cons in what I thought was a balanced manner. Installation and after care has/ was excellent.

My Wife and I have been wanting solar panels on our roof so we could produce power that we can use through the Net Metering program for about 6 years. We contacted Blackline because we saw their quality work in our subdivision. It was kind of on and off over the years about getting it done but we were finally able to do it, and Blackline was there all the way through it. I don't know how many times I called or emailed Joy, and she was always patient and gave us all the information we needed and helped us through the whole process. Blackline Power has done an excellent job in every respect. They do their work thoroughly and carefully, they do it how and when they say they will, and they're responsive when questions or issues arise. They are also quick to find a good solution if anything doesn't go according to plan. A very professional organization.

We took advantage of the Greener Homes program to have solar panels installed. The Greener Homes program provides up to $5,500 for the installation of solar panels as well as interest-free loans of up to $40,000. We used Blackline Power as our installer because of the good reviews here on Google. Joy Black does an excellent job of coordinating all of the various activities and work groups involved in completing the project. She is familiar with the Greener Homes program and can answer all your questions. Rob Black designs your system and can answer any technical questions. What Blackline does not cover is the connection of your system to the internet for monitoring. You may want to ask about your options for this. Overall a very good experience with this company.

It has been an enjoyable learning experience having Blackline Power, Joy and Rob, as our contractors for a roof top solar installation. Their experience and step by step guidance through the process was essential in our project's success. Blackline Power recently completed the design and installation of a 10 KW solar system at our home near Owen Sound. We are very pleased with the work they did for us. They helped us with securing a grant with greener homes and provided key service in dealing with Hydro One in our attempt to set up a net metering system. Best company we have ever dealt with. Complete, full service including building permit, Niagara Escarpment approval, coordinating hydro interface, help with the Green Homes Energy grant and help with monitoring system in an islotated area with poor internet. Very friendly and always available to answer questions. When Joy and Rob said something would be done it was done in the time they said it would be done. Their team members were also very friendly, responsive and efficient. Great advice in maintaining trees, best location for the panels and maximizing our returns on investment. We have already recommended them to several friends.
