I have been going to Black's Auto for several years. I'm not an auto expert so it''s nice to find someone that I can trust and I've found Dave to be that guy - honest and fair - which is all that I can ask for.

My husband took his truck to Dave this week as it kept slipping into 4 wheel drive. Paid $765 and discovered he had replaced some parts that had been replaced less than 6 months previously. Within minutes of driving away it slipped into 4 wheel drive! Took it back and told him it wasn't fixed. He charged another $150 to look at it again and said it should go to Ford as it's a part that's part of a recall. Take it to Ford to discover that it's nothing to do with what he said. So we paid him $900 to not fix the truck and now have to pay someone else to actually fix it. No apologies on his part or offer of any sort of refund.

Broke down coming back from camping and called around, trying to find someone who could fit me in last minute. Most places said a couple days at least, or they would try, but no guarantees they could look at it that day. He was willing to squeeze me in between appointments to look at my car, patch it up and get me back on the road within an hour or so, for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
