Northern Chinese Kitchen

Had a great dinner here. The chef made our meal to what we wanted. It was amazing. I would eat here everyday.

Visiting the East Coast from Vancouver (home of some fantastic Asian food) I can say in good faith that Northern Chinese Kitchen is most definitely worth a visit.Run by one very busy, but very friendly woman, you may have to wait a few minutes to be served, however the food is worth the wait.Homemade dumplings were fantastic, served with black vinegar, soy, and chilli oil.Sautéed guy lan with mushrooms, and pineapple chicken were also great.I wouldn’t usually order a more westernized dish, but the pineapple chicken didn’t disappoint and was tender, lightly breaded, and not too sweet.Decor and ambience leave much to be desired, but in my opinion, that’s usually indicative of a great place to eat.

Truly the best Korean and Chinese restaurant in the city. It's like being in someone's kitchen and their mother is cooking for you. What it lacks in ambiance or formal table service it more than makes up in complex flavours and authentic cuisine. All these years later it is a hidden gem.

Amazing food. Great chili oil to go with the dumplings. Overall very happy about our food. We had the spicy chicken bites, the pork scallopinis, some dumplings and a wonton soup and everything was exquisite.

Still the best Asian food in town!!! Get the Gua Bao Rou!!! You won't be disappointed

I've eaten here many times over the years and the quality has remained high - really authentic Chinese food for fair prices (saying this as a Chinese person).

All time favorite in Maritime Canada. It has the most authentic homemade dumplings! Exactly like my grandma's. You will never be disappointed with any dish you have ordered. It's a family owned place so it feels very homey when you go. I had been going there for 6 years and now it feels like visiting a friend rather than just a restaurant.

The food here is the best in the city!!! The menu is in English and Chinese. I recommend the pineapple Chicken, the pork noodles and the fried pork. You cant go wrong with anything on this menu! The portions are amazing as well. 3 of us went (2 guys and one girl) and still had leftovers for the next day!

You gotta try the orange chicken, the best I ever had, excellent experience. It's worth a try
