We have bought a brand new house that was still in the process of construction. Sterling homes provided the best experience: all representatives of the company are very polite and always here to help with all related concerns. The integrity and dedication that the company brings to the work is shown through everything they do. During the construction process we were welcome to come and see the whole process, it was great experience that we was never offered before! The quality of materials and attention to details were up to par. It is also very important to mention that company was very accommodating, as they moved the possession date on earlier date. And it was so helpful, since we sold our house and needed to move sooner. Our agent Lisa helped us so much in this respect, she talked to the builder and they were able to move possession date that we can actually move one month earlier. And of course Lisa is a wonderful realtor that did so much to us that we could not even imagine. There is nothing impossible for Lisa, she is a professional and we are very grateful that we met her !We could not think of better outcome! People at this company is incredible and do everything to help you out!

We just moved into our new Sterling home a few weeks ago. Overall our experience was positive. Yes there were a few delays (which we expected building new) but nothing unreasonable. Our sales agent Lisa Castro was excellent to work with. She was very responsive and quick to address any concerns i had. A few finishing errors were noticed during one of our walk through’s Lisa assured me they would be taken care of and corrected and she stayed true to her word! I would also like to acknowledge Dave who was the main guy (project manager?) assigned to our home. Our possession date was on a Friday and we had our new home orientation with Dave on Tuesday. There was an issue with the placement of the bathroom light fixtures that was pretty significant. I had doubts it would be done by Friday. However, when we entered our home 2 days later on possession day i was VERY happy to see the light fixtures had been raised (so the glass didn’t smash when opening the medicine cabinet). I imagine this would have been a costly correction as they would have had to book multiple trades to come back to refinish. A few other outstanding things had also been completed in the short 2 day time frame before we moved in. I am very appreciative to Dave for being on the ball and getting those things done for us ASAP. We love our home and can’t wait for the exterior to be completed hopefully before the end of summer.

Don McDonald and Lisa Castro with Sterling Homes are an excellent sales team to deal with in Oak Bluff. They both strive to make their customers happy and do the most they can for you. They are always in your corner when bringing matters to the builder and are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend building your new home with Don and Lisa by your side as they will be every step of the way during your building process. I have built 2 new homes in the past and can honestly say it's nice to have a sales team that wants the best for you and truly cares about helping you get what you want and the answers you need to build the home you want.

We met Don McDonald and Lisa Castro with Sterling Homes to work with Oak Bluff new built house. Lisa is extraordinary knowledgeable and explains everything stage by stage patiently and she always be with you until you move in and take care of your all concerns. The best thing I have seen and really surprised that if you ask any question and messaged to her and you would receive a reply message... in next business day...after 5hrs... No..ooo.... you would receive reply right away. Don and Lisa are the excellent sales team and they make their customer happy. I would highly recommend to my friends building new homes with Lisa and Don. Basically, at the end of this home process you would feel that both became your family members. That's the feel I got. They are amazing.

Our sales rep Lisa Castro was wonderful to deal with however the rest of our experience was less than desirable. Our design centre rep was absolutely useless, everything we wanted was “custom” and Sterling clearly does not know how to build anything other than spec homes, definitely not a custom builder. Their internal communication was extremely delayed leading us to have additional issues such as change orders not being communicated and wrong finishes installed which in turn had to be corrected causing delays. Workmanship is average, lots of corners cut and issues already a month into living in the home such as , dry wall pops, shifting, paint peeling etc.The Sterling team is beyond lucky to have Lisa on their team without her we would not have made it through the process!
