Clarington Self Serve Dog Wash

Now that I've taken both my dogs here. I'm a fan of it. $5 for 7 minutes. Can do a lab no problem. My bernese took $10. All the dispensaries were working and plenty of shampoo and conditioner. The blow dryer needs a cone or flat diffuser but it can be done by covering it half way with your hand.

It was awesome! Lots of space! I was impressed.It functioned exactly like a car wash, where you have to enter coins for it to start.I wish it was more clear on their Facebook about pricing before I went. I had to get cash and come back, that’s about it.It’s $5 to start the machine - and runs for about 5 minutes. Lots of different options: normal shampoo, tick and flea shampoo, oatmeal treatment, conditioner, and a dryer. All included on the same knob - just like a car wash function. The water is nice and warm, and the soap and water comes out at the same time. That’s so handy!!My two dogs are 120 lbs each and they still fit perfectly into the sink.There is a staircase for them to walk up.I brought my two dogs and it worked out well because I was able to let my one dog roam around the space while I washed my other one. Didn’t have to worry about leaving the other one in the car since the door closed well.Definitely going to use it again!

We have taken our dog there a few times. It is nice because your dog is at waist level so easier on your back. Everything is there! Had problems with the machine not accepting my townies. My husband had to get more change which upset the dog when he left. All in all a great place to use.

Just went there and it was busy. So I washed my car in the car wash while waiting .. got my dog into the area .. the spray is warm.. the soap comes out with the spray which makes things easier .. the only thing that sucks is the so called dryer .. I gave up on that and just took mybwet dog home.. after he dried up he smelled fantastic!!

Great place to take dog to give a bath. Raised bath tray at waist height so easy to use. Selector dial like self wash car stall to provide regular shampoo, flea & tick treatment, oatmeal treatment, and rinse. Also an air dry option. Most dogs can be washed for under $10 easily.

TL;DR- If your dogs covered in mud and you wanna get him clean this will get the job done. Its not anything special and you wont be impressed but hey its better than a filthy dog.Longer review below:Took my dog there after a muddy day at the dog park and I guess it gets the job done. You walk in and theres just 1 big tub" I guess with rubber steps and rubber mat to put your dog in. They have these clips that clip onto your dogs collar so they cant jump out. To even get the machine running you need to put $5 in change into the machine then you need to keep feeding it change as your timer runs out. They have a change machine there that works pretty well. So basically its a big adjustable hose with a trigger that shoots out water and soapy water depending on what setting you use. You can choose from normal soap/ soap for sensitive skin/ and some other nice smelling soap and it comes out of the hose along with the water. If you have a big dog its gunna take a while for you to completely bath him because not much water comes out of the hose and its sort of awkward. When you're done rinsing/soaping him up theres a plastic hose that shoots out warm air to try your dog off with. Honestly the hair dryer doesnt work very well its doesnt have different high/low settings just a constant medium warm air would take you 15 minutes to get him decently dry.It cost me like $12 and I only washed my dogs legs/belly that were all muddy I guess its not too pricey compared to sending him to the groomers but it aint cheap either and you dont get much for your money.Pros:- Big tub with stairs- 3 shampoo choices- warm water- gets the job doneCons:- Awkward hose with no pressure setting- smells terrrible- you have to disenfect the tub when youre done which by the way you pay for- hair dryer isnt very strong- only a small room with 1 tub so if someones using it you have to wait and hope they clean up- no towels- kinda pricey"

We went for the first time and had to wait 20 minutes only to find out there was no soap left, what a joke. Basically paid to spray my dog with water. Nobody there on hand to refill or service and no way of obtaining refund of course.The space is large enough to install another wash station which would reduce the wait time. Not sure we’ll ever use it again which is too bad because it’s so close to home and our puppy did seem to enjoy it.

Went there on May 30, 2020 just to vacuum my car out. Never tried the place but we bought a house around the corner and it looked decent enough. Showed up early Saturday morning, put $20 bill in the machine and nothing came out. Called the number above the door left a message, called a couple more times and got through to nobody. Sat and waiting I front for 30 minutes and left, no money, no change, no service. No one got back to me that day so I left another message and continued calling. No response from anybody. Just a heads up bring your own change unless you want to get ripped off.To add to this review. The owner reached out to me and reimbursed me the 20$, cash in an envelope, no questions.. Machines are not reliable but good people can fix that quick. 1 to 5 star.

Always clean, love the fact that if it is an unplanned bath due to our dog getting into something or getting dirty we don't need to worry about not having shampoo and conditiiner as they have that option built in.
