The Sentiers de L'Escapade covers much of Mont Riguad and is an excellent place for novice hikers. There are a number of parking areas surround the rectangular 14km long path. We normally park at either P1 or P2 but this time tried P7 which has a short walk to the high point of Mont Riguad (I wouldn't call it a peak" :-). This would be a good place for a family picnic spot with a few tables but lots of open and relatively flat granite rock surfaces to set up on....the high point is just under a 1 km walk (15 min) from the parking area so it is easily done.
