This was by far the most pleasant vet experience I have had. We went for an annual check up and vaccines. My dog is typically so anxious at a vet’s office, the caring, attentive, and kind staff made sure she felt safe. As an owner I felt that the team took their time, answered my questions thoroughly, and were very helpful overall. I would highly recommend this office - it’s also beautiful on top of the great experience!

I bring all of my animals here, my work sees this clinic for the animals in our care, and they treated me with the most respect possible when having to put down my parrot on March 28th. I love the staff here and will continue to recommend them in the future.

Very nice place. All the ladies are very kind and caring. I find the prices higher for some services, but the quality of care is beyond what I expected. They are very thorough with their explaination of services and the price breakdown. I recently took our kitten to be spayed and was given the choice of which procedure to implement with her. Being she is sooo young we chose the cauterization laser instead of regular scalpel for an extra $40.00 because she is so rambunctious all the time so her healing would be cleaner and faster. After 5 days, I'm very happy we were able to have the choice as it's near impossible to keep her calm and her motion restricted. She had a terrible time with her after care cone as her head and neck is so small, so we cut it down about an inch and a quarter. Only 9 days to go....lol.

Sun. the 25-Jun-23 my GSD/Corso began showing signs of what could've been GVD. They were the Emerg Vet oncall & wasted no time in getting him in and seeing what the problem was. We could tell by xrays that there was at least a partial blockage, but concern was for a mesenteric torsion. They operated & did an incredible job. A few hours later we were going home.I couldn't be more grateful to the phenomenal staff. My baby boy's doing great & healing really well. Thank you for saving my baby boy. ❤️❤️

Dr. Helmers and her staff are the greatest group of ladies. So professional and kind. Pricing is comparable to others around, but Dr. Helmers is so much more knowledgeable around reptiles and other exotic species then other vets I have take my dragons too. She will be our vet for as long as we have animals.

I had to cancel my appointment because of an unforeseen emergency. I left a message with the on-call vet service the night before which was roughly 12 hours notice. I got a rude call saying that they require a $100 deposit before they would rebook as I didn’t give 24 hours notice. I asked them to make an exception due to the emergency. The receptionist was rude and refused. Good thing that there are lots of reasonable vets in town who understand that emergencies happen. Not going backUPDATE: In response to the below statement from the Owner: Their staff member called me and told me that there was a $100 CHARGE which honestly got me upset. I immediately said that no one explained this policy to me or told me that 24 hours notice was needed prior to booking my appointment. The person who called interrupted me with a nasty tone of voice and loudly said “If you would just let me finish!” Then went on to say that it was a deposit. I replied that I would have to call back to re-book my appointment. To have them now say that I was defensive and interupted is unprofessional and unbecoming on their part. All they had to say in response was that they were sorry to hear that I had had a bad experience and explain the policy. The fact that they responded in this way is a poor reflection on them. I have never had to late cancel an appointment with them previously and they gave zero consideration to my emergency.

Called with sick pet Sunday afternoon to on call vet - refused to see or even phone in prescription for obvious infection. Pet died overnight! April 2nd.Despite what response below says - I was not offered ability to come in, in fact that was refused, and I certainly would have paid whatever fees as that never even came up in our discussion.

not my vet clinic but I called in a panic when I saw a bird who had been hit but was still alive. i tried multiple vets nearby to the scene who told me no they could not help, one even told me “even if we could - you’d be on the hook for the cost” which wasn’t a concern. However I was still told they couldn’t help. Neighbourhood vet clinic was amazing and willing to help in such an awful moment. Grateful.(When I had gone back with gloves and something to put the bird in, it was no longer there so either someone else picked it up or it somehow flew away but it seemed to have a broken wing so I’m hoping someone else is tending to it)

Absolutely love this vet clinic!! I switched my two dogs over from another vet, and am amazed with the excellent care and support. They are always so kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I do not recommend this veterinarian. They do not want to help people prevent problems as they are committed to very expensive surgeries and which puts pets at risk. They are not willing to teach people how to prevent problems such as dental issues with cats. Their prices have gone really high and I would not recommend them.
