Dr. Abbas

I've seen Dr Abbas for almost 6 years, became my family doctor 4 or 5 years ago when my other family doctor retired. Her office is busy but I like her, she's good to me and follows upEdit I have now dropped my review my 5 to 2. I have mental health issues and have my anxiety through the roof from my last 2 appointments for my prescription refills and she was adamant I get a prescription for an antidepressant which she knows I'm hesitant. Yesterday at my appointment she argued with me and couldn't seem to comprehend that I could not afford the price of the antidepressant and questioned why I wouldn't see about a generic drug and complained the medication that works for me isnt meant for long term. My husband is quite upset with her also. It is now 0128 and I'm still struggling to cope 15 1/2 hours after my appointment.Come Monday I am looking for a new doctor. My mental health is worse instead of better despite of the help I'm getting and the person I'm supposed to go to for medical help is adding to my illness.

My hubby has mental health issues & anxiety & she's pretty good with him ! If meds don't work, she'll try something else

My wbc count kept getting lower from 2018 to now , Dr Abbas never acknowledged it as a problem , I brought it up and she didn't see it as a concern. Now I have NO wbc and my red are low now and another Doctor has referred me to a hematologist. I now have Neutrapenia that could have beenhelped and have issues with my bone marrow. Basically if you want to be in poor heath or die go to her!!October 3rd diagnosed with Leukemia spent 40 days in hospital if I was sent to a hematologist years ago this may not of happened or been so severe.

Terrible doctor. Never answers the phone when you call. Will call and scream at you. if you have any kind of mental health issues do not go to her because she will only make you worse. She will refuse to look at you and the only thing she does is sends you for blood test after blood test. Extremely rude. I’ve watched her yell at her staff and her patients. And if you have any kind pain medication she will constantly threaten to take the prescription away. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO DOCTOR ABBAS!

It was my first time calling at this place to ask if Dr Abbas is accepting new patient or no. The woman who received my call was so rude she don't even care to answer my question properly. I would never ever go to this Doctor.

This moth Dr Abbas refused to give my man his refills now he’s gonna go though withdrawals this month like he did last month and the month before that. Do not see this dr

I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Abbass for my personal physician for a number of years and she is very professional, never leaves a stone un-turned, and a very caring medical professional.

Dr Abbas has been our family doctor for 5 years now . She is so caring and so professional. She always has a smile on her face. She was there for me for all my 2 pregnancies . She is a good doctor.

I used to have Dr. Abbas as my GP when I lived in Hamilton and going through difficulties. I since moved away but she was absolutely amazing, I could not recommend anyone better!

I was a patient of Dr. Wasan Abbas since she was a doctor at the walk-in clinic at Young Street. I thought she was a good doctor until she showed her true colours. What are those colours? Greed. If you are dealing with health issues or have young children, she will like you, because you are a cash cow. If you get better from your ailments and don't go to see her often, she will treat you poorly. I'm glad she is no longer my doctor.
