I am a contractor servicing the treasure valley with jobs that vary from small construction projects to new construction custom homes. I was familiarized with pro rental when a roofing contractor I hire used their lifts on two of my custom homes. So I thought I would give them a chance and use them for a one day rental that had the possibility to go into a a second day. I let Mike from the Ontario location know this also prior to ordering the equipment. So when the job went into a second I called Mike and he stated that he wanted my business for future projects so he wouldn’t charge me for a second day. So I went forward with the project, on the completion of the project I contacted Mike and let him know the lift could be picked up, again with my customers present I asked if he was charging for the second day, I needed to know this so I could invoice my customer accordingly. He again told me he wasn’t going to charge for the second day so I invoiced my customer for just the single day rental fee. Then today he sends me a bill for the second day saying he had to charge it because I went over 8 hours and did other work with it well on site, which I really don’t think should matter to him at all. What this means to me is that now instead of having profit on the job it now has cost me more to complete the job than what I charged! I will not be doing business with pro rentals again and I also let the contractor which I use for my roofing know that their equipment isn’t welcome on my job sites. I believe that in this small community your word means a lot. If Mike had told me that he was charging for the second day it wouldn’t have been an issue because I could have charged the homeowner for the second day which I had already estimated that they would need. But because I was told I was only being charged for one I only charged them for one. Be upfront and honest!

Decent assortment of tools. Good service. But after renting the rebar bender and couple times, it started to break. They said they fixed it when they didn't. It finally broke and they promised to have it repaired or replaced by next visit...didn't happen and then I was forced to bend rebar off my hitch...not to happy..

Cool guys running the counter. Easy help, get you what you need and get you out the door so you can work on whatever. Lots of options for the DIY person, and contractor. Just ask a question, if they don't know they can find out. Easy delivery also. 3 stars is a solid score, will definitely use this company again. Tools are newer and well maintained.

They rented to me at a regular rate the first time at a four hour price. Two weeks later rented same tool was charged three times the earlier rate for four hours. They are deceptive in their practices and will not see me as a customer again.

These guys are great. Lots of selection.

Reserved a concrete mixer 2 days in advance and when I went to pick it up it was not available don't waste your time

Excellent service, with very fair prices! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I rented a chain saw a few months ago and it was a very smooth process. From figuring out what I'd need and the cost of it, to picking it up and signing paperwork, to returning the tool and not needing to worry about cleaning it or topping it off with fuel. They even provided an additional fuel can in case we ran out, all without any additional or hidden charges. Will definitely be coming back next time I need a tool or other piece of equipment for one-time use.

Do not waste your precious time or money with this joke of a business. I went in recently to rent a lawnmower for the day. The staff seemed disappointed that they had to help a customer. When I gave them my info and they realized that I was born in a different area, the man at the counter made a joke about shooting me. I tried to uncomfortably laugh this off.When I returned the next day with the mower, I saw a sign on the door saying that I would be charged extra for not cleaning my equipment. I proceeded to thoroughly clean the clumps of grass off of the mower. When I went inside, the same guy who had made the shooter joke very rudely told me to clean the grass out of their parking lot. I apologized for the mess and agreed to clean it up. As he went to grab a broom, I looked at my bill to see that they had already charged me with additional cleaning fees. When I asked why they did this, I was told to leave and never come back. They ended up following me all the way to my vehicle as they shouted jokes and insults at me.Not even worth renting the barely running mower. Like I said, don’t waste a moment or a cent at this place unless you want to be ripped off and ran off by racist hillbillies.

The guys were great. I want sure what I needed but the guys walked me through it and helped me get the right tiller and get it loaded. The rental price was good and it worked for what I needed.
