Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre

Great place... hosted a birthday party here. We got the entire gymnasium and a youth lounge room to our self. Please is perfectly located within a 5 minute walk from the skytrain and there are loads of parking in and around the facility.

Good park but I wouldn’t bring any children here; they even removed the kids playground next to the skatepark because of the littered needles in the area, my friend was poked while trying to clean up the bowl. Instead of adding more security they added a device that makes a high pitched sound at night to ward off the homeless people. All in all it was a very bad decision to put this very expensive skatepark in this area, Also the roof does NOT keep the park dry during rain. As someone who has been skateboarding in BC for over 12 years, I cannot understand why anyone would think a half roof would suffice for a skatepark. It’s only rideable for the first 15 minutes that it starts raining then everything is wet and dangerous.

The front staff is very nice .My son goes for preschool and Ms Mehboba is wonderful teacher I came across.She is so much connected with every child and so is with their families in updating the regular feedback.God bless her with all the good things in her life.

Great little place for a good time doing sports

Very nice, clean and brand new everything to the Chuck Bailey Recreation Center in Surrey, BC, Canada. The workers were great! As well the staff and supervisors who administered and handled the COVID 19 Vaccines for Fraser Health. Could not have asked for a healthier and safer protocol. Too bad the building is closed due to The 2019-2021 and counting Global Pandemic. I do hope this brings safer and more protective effects for our safer tomorrow.

First things first, it's in a rougher area next to a bus depot. I went today with my wife and upon entrance I was uncomfortably stared down by some unkempt locals. It made me really uneasy parking my car in the lot and leaving it in front of them.Next the facility. Yikes. It looks sorta okay if maybe you wanted to play some basketball or use the recreational gym there. Otherwise I'd avoid this place like the plague.The lockers are coin operated only (the receptionist (who wasn't the most pleasant) offered to bill my debit card $0.25 and give me a quarter, but I'm not in the habit of bringing my wallet to the swimming pool for a dip) unless you use the public lockers - which are located outside the change area - ACROSS the pool and get this : The stairway to the lockers are glasses off - so your options are to A.) walk through the water park's sprinklers or B.) climb over a dangerous planter with wet feet.Next the pool. Have you ever been to a pool where they have two separate pools? There's usually a small separate shallow urine-filled pool for toddlers etc and then a normal pool for adults to swim in. Not this place. The entire thing is just a shallow kiddie piss-pool.

Today I went there to ask about child care there were 2 persons in information desk one boy and one girl. The boy was I think new there, that's why he was looking for someone else to answer my questions, but the girl was so rude. She asked me what do you want? After I explained she answered me the way that I'm a bagger. I feel so disappointed I feel like It's shame to ask for child subsidies information. I have a request to head office please let them know how to communicate with people.

Great gym. Basketball is run for full court games.

Facility is great but the area around it is super sketchy and should definitely have more security if they want it to be safe for families.

Went to use the advanced poll. Building security fellow was very polite. Nice facility for as much as we saw.
