Worst experience, i was telling the barber to put the clips and all, how to cut.

For context I am new to the Scarborough area and was looking for a new go to spot. This was going to be my first time trying out Nappy’s and overall my experience was an absolute joke. Got into their establishment a couple minutes early but it was of no use to me. For starts I was not greeted when I entered, merely had to find a place to sit awkwardly in silence while I wait for my barber (Dre) to show up. After about 15 minutes of silence a man (who I’m assuming was a barber) came in, asked me who I was waiting for, only to leave me sitting there without an explanation. I patiently waited another 10 minutes in silence until it came past my SCHEDULED appointed time and I decided to leave.There was hair on the floor from a previous cut but no barbers in sight..It is worth mentioning as well that even though they claim to take appointments over the phone , I was only greeted by an answering machine and had to direct myself to their website for this poor customer service ..Not pleased . Would never recommend .

There is nothing that beats the fades here.Affordable price 20 bucks for a haircut wow.Gets busy during the weekends but other than that the staff are really friendly and skilled.Customer Service 5/5. Hands down the most underrated and blessed hair studio in Scarborough.

Excellent quality haircuts. Errol is an amazing barber. He takes his time and does it right.The big problem is that wait times are extremely long and sometimes they don’t open the shop on time, so if you try to beat the rush by coming early, you might be wasting your time.They don’t take appointments. That’s why there are so many complaints about waiting time. Also, because the wait times are long, you might think you are next in line, then a few guys jump in and you discover they were there before you, left and then came back. Always ask how many people are ahead of you.

First things First. Do not come here expecting a $8 haircut in 15 minutes. This is not a cheap cut place. They gave me one of the cleanest shadow fades I've gotten, and they made me feel as if my hair and me mattered. It took 1h hour-ish to cut my hair, but it was done to my liking. Ended up paying 25$ including tip, but it was well worth my time and money. Highly reccomended to anyone that is trying to get a proper hair cut with time on their hands.

This place is ridiculous. Went in. They said it would be an hour wait time. We asked if they take appointments but they said no. Look at the poster and it says they DO take hair appointments. Someone else came in after us and was sitting in the chair before us (verifying that they DO take appointments, just didn't want to take ours). While waiting they're cracking jokes (which is fine) but also talking on the phone, making it an even longer wait time. It also felt as if we they didn't really want us there. Terrible experience would definitely NOT GO BACK.

Nappy's is an amazing hair studio with some really professional barbers. I have personally been there a bunch of times now and their barbers have always been precise and sharp with every cut and shave. I definitely would recommend this hair studio to all those wanting to get a hair cut.The only cons I faced here is that you need to go there early as there is a huge line up all the time that can take upto 3 hours to get a hair cut. Otherwise they also provide other premium services and they accept all methods of payment.

They have a big sign on the front door that says walk ins available but they had me waiting 1 hour only to say they're not taking walk ins. Wasted my time and energy. Don't recommend this place.

NEVER GO TO THE SATURDAY BARDER FOR FADES/TRIMS OR HAIRCUT!I usually go to get my haircut/fade from the barber guy who works from Mon-Fri - the man who does it really well as he takes his time.So I walked in Saturday afternoon, asked if the guy that I usually get my haircut with was there but they said no, however a girl who does fades/haircut can do it for me, and so I was like okay cool. She asked what I wanted and I showed her a picture. I stated I wanted a regular fade on the side.I was in a hurry so I left very quickly. When I got home there was NO FADE AT ALL! IT LOOKED LIKE A SHAVED SIDE WITH NO FADE OR ANY LINING!I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER - IF YOU WANT ANY FADE TO THE GUY WHO CUTS HAIR FROM MON-FRI

It would be nice if this business had a website with bios on all the barbers, their portfolios of their cuts and their cosmetology education.
