Laura's Valu-mart Morrisburg

This is a tourist town and prices were a little high. Overall we were able to get what we needed for camping

Every time I stop in, I find what I'm looking for. Great , helpful and friendly staff. I go in about once every couple weeks when I get to Morrisburg and always a positive experience.

Always go above and beyond, great place to shop

3 stars since they actually stock plant based options, I understand the world is experiencing inflation but the prices here make me feel sick. There's no other real competition in the area for valumart so they get away with the steep prices. It's so unfair to those who have no other options. When I'm able to shop at a Food Basics it feels like I'm getting my groceries half priced compared to the cost for a small shopping in Valumart. I sometimes shop at Independent grocers where prices are similar to valumarts but the quality and selection is better by far. Other stores will discount produce BEFORE its rotting. The amount of food waste from Morrisburg Valumart also breaks my heart, I wish they would donate more to the food bank down the road before food is spoiled. I could live off their waste.Edited to update and add, thank you for donating items that would otherwise be wasted to the local food share, you have no idea the difference a gesture like that makes for so many local families.

Picked up some delicious strawberries for 2.44 as well as some skin cream. It has a little of everything and a very friendly and helpful staff.

I like their customer service. Very friendly. It was too. Cold outside and a girl she was waiting for customers to give the sanitized carts. Really appreciate her hard work. Not so expensive just like wallmart and they do have some offers when we take 3 same products.

Being a senior with limited funds, I do find that Valu-Mart is quite expensive compared to other grocery stores. Being o a set I come men's we must budget quite a bit. No let up or brake for the seniors.
