West Hawk Lake Campground

This is a recreational campground that is perfect for water sports and beach days. Campground is well kept and offers good RV sites as well as tenting sites. If you are a family it is lovely. We prefer the more wild campsites.

Lovely campground. Big sites but not very level. Amazing location for swimming, ice cream, boardwalks and diving. Coin operated showers. No cell service, so a bit inconvenient for working while on the road.

Amazing campsite and always have fun here. Lots to do and the water is so clean.

This is a beautiful campground near West Hawk lake. There are playground, you can do scuba diving, swim in the lake. But water even in a very hot days will be refreshing. Close to it a short trail with a lot of scenic views.The one big minus here that at night in the tent you can hear the car's noise from the highway 1 and some sites are not flat.

Nice beach and marina with public washrooms and showers readily available. Negative from viewpoint is that campsites are close together with no separation in the way of treelines or hedges.

We stayed there over the long weekend and we were very disappointed in the sites. Everyone was packed in like sardines. No privacy between sites. Neighbours sewer hookup is right next to picnic table. Some of the public shower buildings were permanently closed so there was only one central shower house. Garbage bins were few and far between. No recycling bins anywhere on campground.Had to drive to Falcon lake for repair items for trailer .everything shut down by 10 pm on weekend(store,restaurant,bar) . No little canteen or restaurant close by to grab snack or ice cream .Not a lot of options for fully serviced sites . We will look for a different campground next time

Some sites are difficult to get into with trailers: angled road to approach, ditches along the sites for water runoff can cause bottoming out of trailer, some sites are very unlevel - bring lots of levelling blocks and maybe an extra step in case steps of trailer are too high. No wi-fi and LTE/4G is not available in some spots

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been! Very clean and so many things to do!! Cute little shops, a park to play in ! Great BBQ areas even for people who aren't renting a camp site!!Clean washrooms ( with running water)Great place to spend a day or even more!

Tried West Hawk Lake Crescent Beach for the first time and really liked it. The beach wasn't super big. Water was clean. Could see our feet.... in water. Didn't have to walk far to get to deep water. Sandy Beach. They rent pontoon boats, kayaks, paddleboats etc. Close parking, lots of places to eat nearby and washrooms.. Motel across the street.Will definitely go again next year.
