no phone number to be found, google says they’re open monday but it’s 2:30 and their door is locked. care to update your info? we paid to park to come shops but wasted money!edit: i see about their facebook group but most stores post their hours on the building or atleast update google maps, also the facebook page shows incorrect hours then regardless

Nicely cataloged vinyl records. New, used, old gems (original cover, inlay+ posters intact). Will visit soon.

The perfect local record store. Brett specializes in rock, punk, metal & classic rock but he has other genres as well. It's much better than anything else in the area and sells other media besides LPs. A must-see for any music lover.

Very groovy place. Amazing selection of records, cool home in the wall treasure vibe. Found some really cool records here. A must visit if you like vinyl.

Finding a good record store north of Toronto is finally becoming a little less difficult. While the novelty of shopping in the front end of the old theatre was nice, The Record Market’s new location right at the five points is nice and big, very welcoming, and full of great finds from a wide array of genres. With an emphasis on unique and rare imports this place doesn’t hold back when it comes to cool finds that you might not find anywhere else. Moreover, their sale bin is typically full with tough finds too. If you love collecting vinyl I highly recommend a visit to the Record Market. It’s a true independent record store and shouldn’t be missed.

My boyfriend and I found this store yesterday when we were out for a walk and we’re so glad we found it! Great selection of new and used records and great prices. The owner is a very nice and friendly as well :) We’ll be back for sure.

After a minute in the store you realise how much Brett, the owner, cares about music and his customers.Incredible selection of standards, curiousities and rarities. Prices are what you wish you were paying for records when you're shopping at Amazon or other stores. Beware though; this all makes it a gateway drug to buying entirely too many records too often.Fantastic place that will make you feel like a kid in a toy store.

The best record store going. A strong selection, especially for those of us into heavy music. Brett the owner is great, prices rule. Impossible to leave with nothing.
