Mr. Xavier did miracles with my bridesmaid dress that had some unexpected issues upon delivery. Not only did he fix it with basically no turnaround time, he adjusted it keeping my comfort in mind. I spent the day feeling like a million bucks in that dress. I will definitely only go to him for my tailoring needs.

This man is a Suit Doctor. His service is top notch. He keeps on top of latest trends, and recommends what kind of alterations would look good. He will also explain what each alteration does and why it works. He turned my 5 year old boxy / baggy suit into a modern cut one. He's also not afraid to work on alterations that require extensive work. Hes super detail oriented too. When he was measuring me for my coat, he pointed out that I should wear more than a TShirt to the fitting because in winter, people tend to layer up. Had he not done this, the coat would be too tight when I wore sweaters. For the service and quality you get, the price is absolutely reasonable.Alterations:Transformed my old suit from baggy boxy to a slim tapered fit (pant tapering, seat alterations, jacket waist alterations, back/shoulder alterations). Fixed my sports jacket elbows. Reworked a quilted coat I bought that was one size too large (there's lining and filling to work through, lots of work).

Can do the basics like hemming, shortening and taking in but not very personable and was irritable even though the mix up was his fault. Also not up to date with current fashion. I wouldn't recommend.

I've been using Xavier as my tailor over the years since he was in the old location. He's always been professional and provide great advice. Each alteration was done perfectly and I never had to go back until I bought new clothes that needs to get some tweaking done.I find his prices to be reasonable given his eye to small details, excellent workmanship and decades of experience as a tailor.

The man is brilliant! I’ve used Xavier tailors for 5 or 6 years, everything from basic hemming and adjustments to reworking a pair suit pants to update the fit. He provides good advice, accommodates all requests and I’m always happy with his work. Highly recommended.

Xavier does not have a storefront, he has a small office on the 7th floor of the office building on the North-East corner of Yonge & Bloor streetXavier was like a surgeon for my suit. He made the waist of my pants bigger, tapered down the width of my pants, made my sleeves shorter and loosened the waist of my jacket.I don’t have a very well tailored suit, and Xavier was able to point out where the proportions went wrong, causing the discomfort I had when wearing my suit. He fixed what could be fixed, and explained what errors are unfixable, as a result of poor original fittings.With over 50 years of tailoring experience, Xavier is a master at what he does. A custom suit is something that everyone should experience once in their life. It is hand-selected cloth perfectly sculpted for you. And while Xavier will handle any alteration, I know he can tailor the perfect suit, simply because he’s got the feel by fixing all kinds of errors in people’s suits.

Was one of several people getting alterations. One person that arrived after was doing their wedding clothes, I was then ignored and hurried along.Outcome was not at all what I asked for. Seemed like I wasn't good enough for his stitching.

I've have a few pieces altered by Xavier after many online forums raved about his work. His work is just ok. The sewing is not neat and looks identical to what my local tailor does for 1/3 of the prices. The worst part is that he's impatient and just plain rude. Save your money
