Nothing special but pricey. $17.5 Hainan Chicken rice noodle in soup with only half of chicken thigh.. Roti was lack of sweet taste. Only BBQ Satay was acceptable but extremely pricey. One time is enough.

Always loved their chicken with rice. Tried the new menu item today (note: there were 8 pc of tofu) and the tofu was very nicely deep fried with soft centre. Wish it would have less MSG though. Hainanese Chicken has also gotten smaller portion, making it a slightly pricy dish now, but overall still very tasty!(PS. a full chicken order comes with 5 bowls of rice. There is only 3 in pic, they packed the other 2 for us to take away).

I think their strength is the hainanese chicken rice because I saw a lot of people ordered that. Their hainanese chicken rice earned them 2 star from me. The rice was flavorful and not too oily. The satay was well marinated. Sweet but not much spices. The satay sauce was pretty plain - almost like peanut butter. Satay perhaps, but not Malaysian style. It's missing some spices. The worst was char kuey teow. Not sure where they got their char kuey teow recipe from. But it didn't look like one and didn't taste like one.

Something good, quick and satisfying on a rather wet Wednesday evening - and remembered one of our old favourites - city 1; funny how I always forget to review old favourites. This rezzie is perfect as their portions are not generous and suits a weekday dinner. And the Hainanese chicken is as good as in the past, but what’s outstanding are their chicken oil rice - Yummy - and the accompanying soup, which is such a good chicken broth that I guess they make from the bones of their boneless chicken. As good as home made chicken soup (oops, my better half is NOT gonna like this remark!). Opted for the half chicken with the 3 bowls of rice and 2 soups. My my my, they still serve small portions - must be pigmy chickens!! LOL, but the smoothness and flavour makes up for the lack of quantity. And the price - boy it’s higher than I remembered it - but what’s as cheap now as in the past??!! Oh well!!

Enjoyed the meal tremendously! Greens, beef curry, and their famous hainan boneless chicken. The beans few slightly spicy, and seasoned nicely, slight spicy, the curry and chicken few excellent! My only criticism was the fragrant rice was slightly weak, I think it could have been more flavourful. I would definitely come back

the hainanese chicken portion size was surprisingly SMALL for the price!! i wonder how it will satisfy other average sized male customers as my husband finished it like a snack. I had hainanese chicken once in LA and once in Seattle. their portion size was generous enough for about the same price. and the cashier also asked for tip upfront. so rude. never coming back.

We have been going to this place for years for the chicken, while I realize prices need to be adjusted due to the pandemic, it’sbecoming too pricy for what you are getting. There are other options in the city with better atmosphere and service!

This restaurant was never on my radar until someone mentioned about their hainanese chicken. Ordered one whole chicken with oil rice and a large curry beef brisket. Pretty good hainanese chicken but I wouldn’t say it was the best. The curry beef brisket had a good amount of spice to it but it would be nicer if the beef brisket wasn’t cut into super small pieces. Overall a decent meal.

Hidden gem in an old strip mall. The store front isn't popping but food was great. Service is slow as only one person looking after the whole restaurant. The kitchen is also quite slow. Portion is small but tasted delicious. Only comment on the food is the curry beef brisket is chopped into tiny pieces. If the pieces were bigger, it would be perfect.
